Got asked twice last week how do you manage to work in this weather, my answer was go value for money weather.

You just get on with job and don't stand around.

My old boss used to say on a cold day ‘you can always work yourself warm’

He did die of hypothermia lost in a field as a 82 year old wearing his pyjamas after wandering out of hospital in January, so I guess he should have  picked up some wood and run about a bit.

Live and learn.

It’s been pretty nippy here in Norway.  The warmest it has been this last week was -8c.

Winter tyres and Quattro for the win.  For he most part very stable, unless your pretty dumb and driving too fast and stamp on the breaks.

I sometimes do this (obviously when it is safe) just to see how the car reacts and how I react to it.

The hills are pretty steep to get down to my house by the Fjord.  No problems though.  I fall over every time on this road when I am walking after a winter night out on the piss.

I commented to the boss the other day that I've never seen so much competition to take a twig to the chipper, whoever was in the mewp was even coming down regularly to grab a rake for a few minutes.

Warming fairly quickly now. Up to minus 6c.

We had a great afternoon skating on the lake (only my second time on skates) and then I've been helping at the ski slope with that snow production. First time driving a snow mobile too!

I think they make water very cold, that just a guess btw🤔🤣

Amazing what they can do these days!

I was interested though along the lines of is there a lake to pump from or snowbowsers delivering it, what does it take to build a ski slope?

@Big J

Edit.  Actually, if snowbowsers exist, I can imagine BigJ driving one
