Pulled the 54mm cylinder off being someone wanted it worse then me 83cc.  Sold with 1 ring NOS piston.  Rarer 2 ring NOS piston back on shelf.

 

50mm quad port 71cc going in it's place. Being someone wanted the whole saw that way.

Looks more like the saw is upside down. The cutters look a long way apart like a skip chain.

I was going on the angle of the dogs as well as the back handle and trigger. Looks normal one tooth, tie strap then opposite tooth to me.

Repaired a mower, body had rotted in several places but motor, drive etc all fine still seemed a shame to scrap it so had a bash (yes welding would have been better but would have cost more than a new mower to get geared up let alone skilled up)  quite pleased with how it turned out, anyone know the RAL code for Husqvarna orange?

I remember my dad mending everything with fibreglass, most cars had quite a bit in the bodywork. He also patched the crankcase of his Dolmar 112 after dropping it out of a tree, repair is still there and perfectly sealed 30 years later.

Interesting that’s RAL2004 there is seller of husky orange on eBay but at nearly £20 a tin delivered I decided against it
