Which battery powered drill for eco plugs

Hello ask the title says which battery powered drill are people using for Eco plugging?

 

I have been using one that we plug into mains but could do with something that we could use without mains .

Have used Bosch, Dewalt and Milwaukee you get what you pay for. I have just used what I had to hand, depends how many you need to do.

Avoid Bosch green plastic products though...they are the domestic range. Go for bosch blue.

My brother had a old green Bosch he couldn't brake it, Bosch blue is good. Decide which make and look at other tools they do so you only run one make of batteries.

I have gone Milwaukee Fuel for everything now . However probably any DIY store drill would do for eco plugs .

I do Ecoplugs occasionally and Bosch green is fine.  It would be some stump that took more than a battery charge to drill for!

Any decent 18v cordless drill would be fine if its only used from time to time.

Can’t help with the Ecoplugs, I use Makita battery tools and never had a problem with them. A lad I work with occasionally swears by Milwaukee, I just can’t justify the money for the environments I work in.

I used a dewalt before and found the bit kept slipping but may have been damaged before using for eco plugs .

I ground 3 small flats on the 13mm brad point bits for the Stihl BT45 when they needed sharpening, trouble was many of the utility arbs they were issued to just discarded them when blunt.
