I just watched Fred Dibnah’s made in Britain series. I’m sure most people would find it boring as hell but I love watching all the old ways. Anyway, Fred mentioned he saw a video of some guys making chain and the like so i found this on YouTube. Not sure if it’s what he would have watched but I just thought it was incredible how they did stuff back then. 
One or two of you might enjoy it so thought I would post it here.

Love stuff like that. We need more of it on TV. 

As for Fred he was a great man and was fortunate to meet him a few times before he died. I met him through the local Abbey's head groundsman, who also had a love of steam power. As said a great man and sadly missed ?
