After replacing 2 grands worth of stolen machinery, the replacement gets stolen.

Beware that if you have an app on your phone by a delivery company and have it set to leave in a SAFE place this means the delivery driver will dump your parcel any where they like. Not knock on your door or leave a card and you will be blamed and out off pocket.

Dont use the app and end up driving 20 miles to pick your parcel up.

The supplier uses this delivery company and should be half to blame as you will receive no help from them

Really pisses me off things like this - sorry to hear it.
I never get stuff dropped without a signature that is worth anything now- learnt that the hard way years ago.

What has this to do with the supplier?

We use DPD as they are the best of a bad bunch.

Our contract with them is to always receive a signature unless otherwise instructed. If you have the App and have told them to leave it. They did exactly what you have asked.

If we had instructed them to leave it, that would be down to us, but we didn't.

Not sure what else we could have done, If you contact me on Monday I will see what we can do to help with replacements at cost for you. I cant help today as I've had a massive robbery at 4 this morning myself. (not work this time)

Why should they help, you downloaded the app, you set the settings

That is true BUT

The safe place is in an outbuilding not dumped outside for all to see.

No card left they was some one in the house and he did not knock.

The driver did the same 2 days before.

This is not over.

I really feel for you on this one,but i think for 2 grands worth of kit i would make sure someone was in to receive the goods

The order came from frjones

Some of the stuff was not in stock.

So it came in 3 delivers

1 got signed for the other 2 just left outside.  When they was a person in the house both times.

Feel your pain mate, but it's still not Jonesie's fault, is it?

I'd definitely be trying to rip DPD a new one, though.
