Ebay Felling Levers

Anyone bought/used one of the cheap (under 20 quid) felling levers from ebay? Just wondered if they were any good for the money or should I just shell out 50 quid for a husky/stihl one.

I bought a Bahco one from Clark Forest, cheaper than Stihl but has been great. Definitely a proper one.

Cheers Dan. Theyre still 42 quid, which is similar to Oregon ones.  I wont use one that often so don't wanna shell out too much.

£42 aint that much to have the right piece of kit for the job is it ? and i wont use it that often, i said that and how wrong i was, now have 2 800mm ones and a 1200mm one all get used thou,

I made one once in my forestry days.

Worked fine but quite heavy. Proper one is made of higher quality steel, very strong for it’s weight .

nowadays can earn the £42 quicker doing trees and buy the proper tools
