feck off! I have over a hundred used saws, some might be well worn, but none are stolen.

Yeah, I think I ate too much cheese after dinner 😃 it was just heartburn, went away within minutes once I’d stopped laughing. 😆 Might keep my one remaining Makita 18v battery that holds charge on standby so I can lick it if I need a defibrillator! 😂🤣

my late friend had some eggs given to him and put them under a broody, odd looking things when they hatched,, turned out they were shamo aseels, they were impressive birds, fortunately only one was a cockerel, but boy was he a character, he would be affectionate like a loyal cat, and actively sought it out, but totally different with any threat to his hens, he would ride on his horses back, lie down with lurchers, and once he saw one attacking a fox that fancied chicken that night he let loose a full blown onslaught, between him and the dog they didn't just kill it,, they feckin' shredded it. the kids would carry him about on carts and even dressed him up one time. he was one comical guy alright.

Haha, that’s what I was thinking. I’d hesitate to buy a used vehicle off the OP 🤣

APTA appears to be a bog standard potato air cannon made from 2" plumbing pipe and fittings, but they added a little ziptied handle to justify the $400 price. A common tyre fitters tool is the 5 gallon bead blaster. In theory they are proper rated pressure vessels, just needs a bit of pipe for the launching barrel. It is far too big, dangerous with that much air. Theres a smaller version. 3L of air should be plenty, but 9L might only need 30 or 40psi, and I suppose that might be safer over all. Lower pressure may need a longer barrel. I'm thinking I will try a small blaster cannon, and a clone of the bigshot.

Hello people. I’m keen to dip my toes into the waters of chainsaw carving. I have a number of larger chainsaws which would be ideal for the ‘blocking’ down of stumps before the intricate stuff begins, but want to use a little light saw for the detail work, before I switch to my Makita die grinder. Anyway, I can’t justify the £399 for an Echo 2511 WESC with the 1/4” sprocket and carving bar incase I’m totally useless at it, and it becomes a very expensive pruning saw. As such I’ve elected to buy a Mitox 270 CSX which some describe as a clone of the Echo 2511. At £160 it’s a fraction of the price and if it ends up as a pruning saw if I suck at carving, so be it. If I turn out to be any good and enjoy the carving I can upgrade to the echo later. My question is, is there a 1/4” sprocket compatible with the Mitox 270 CSX that I can pair with a small carving bar from either Sugihara or Stihl? Any help appreciated.

Yes it would be good know how things got to that stage. I can't see any situation where you'd end up upside down and suspended by your ankle. I also don't know how I'd rescue someone from a situation like that. Girth hitch them onto a sling or two, clip them on and get them down?

Evening, I did plan on signing in at 3.30am but was busy with the wee 1. She’s sleeping 3-4 hours so only really 1 change and feed. Strange how quick you adapt. I’ve been awake 3.30am - 10.30pm a few nights in a row now and getting out a walk too. Wouldn’t like to be climbing, grafting or doing anything to strenuous though!

Ah, sounds like the head gasket on the right side has cracked and letting in oil. Bummer 😞

First pic, I think I need a flat 24mm wrench! Cant get it with current one second pic, which way does this come out, engine or hopper?

Could do, but the way things are in Norway. I would end up paying more tax and import duty than a couple of RRPro’s. Hence the reason it wasn’t really worth my while.

I have bloody loads of the refugees on my farm. Could easily get a few with the air rifle if it took my fancy.

Old Mill Tree Care replied to David Humphries's topic in Tree health care
Same things here for me Pete. The older trees appear to deal with all a bit better. I am always very clear to the clients about the 'guarantee' that the tree may/may not survive. In most cases though, my clients have enough disposable income to 'have a go' but the results have actually nearly always been positive for the tree. (So far). -

Megan reach out, through a flunky who authenticated the situation, to her father? Just how is that newsworthy and why is she given any attention?
