Love me a bit of Tull, seen them loads however Anderson since the late 80's has got a voice like a goose farting in the fog in a Norweigan fjord - nasty business - avoid! Also a big Marillion fan, post Fish as well a fine British band who never got the credit they deserve in my opinion...

I want to get out to German/Austria to find climbing work before cutting season ends. I have all kit an necessary tickets plus 10 years experience.. any suggestions or contacts for companies to approach would be much appreciated.. TIA

They're pretty simple machines. Mine jammed up the other day when a fork went through it but the overrun clutch on the PTO shaft saved the day. The product is fiddly to burn but you can really fill a stove up and it goes for a long time. It gets choked up on brash but it's a decent way of reducing bulk if you don't have a chipper

Had a great vat of curry for old folk and sister last night, good catch up and question old folk on things of the past but Mum's dementia mean she can be pretty rude about stuff from the past - "his father was a dirty old groper, always grabbing girls arses and he was a noise in the Weslean Chapel too!"....... Going to aTaunton for something to do and possibly another walk along Charmouth later. Found a huge seam of Copralites along the beach - 95 million year old Dino pooh! Be good at work and get ready for the storm! Art, Hitch, Oak.

Took the words right from my keyboard. Kram, on a serious note. The course will teach you something but it is of course a paper exercise for the employers etc. You will get as much out of it as you can if you go in there open minded and don’t try and tell the instructor he is doing it wrong or you know a better way to do it. There are many ways to skin a cat as the saying goes. But if your on a cat skinning course then listen to what the instructor is trying to tell you.

Tried a pair of these on in store felt pretty good. Can anyone vouch for their long term comfort, any good with spikes? Any good for hiking as well- I know they’re stiff and a bit heavy Cheers

Cheers for them answers. I hadn't thought about roadsise to be honest Mark, I might get away with that in spring when tree work's quiet. Thanks for the tip about Chainsaw Bars UK too, I get most of my milling kit that way but since Brexit I pay big import duties on it. He's got a load of Manpa stuff too I've seen which might be useful. I would probably be able to justify the expense if I knew I could sell some work off the back of it. Carving more would be a good start. Cheers again for your help, I probably will give you a shout Mark next time I'm over visiting.

The Norfolk Arborist has gone from strength to strength since its formation in 2017, providing expert residential and commercial tree maintenance services throughout East Anglia. Cheers guys Ive tried the bypass im but that didnt help, the light comes on on the solenoid,ive done a resistance check and one side is a bit flaky it seems when the solenoid heats up the its losing conection internaly. I've got a new one from hydrastar hydraulics but the one on the valve must be stuck as it wont budge at all I just need to be sure there wasnt some fixing I was missing -
I don't dream of using tech stuff, nor do I use tools, machines, drive, sail, fish, hunt,etc etc I used statins for the first time 15 or so years ago and I had awful dreams and nightmares (and a few other side effects) until I changed them for the second time.

Hi - Update: 2 roles. 1. An experienced climber with an interest in passing skills onto others, and undertaking hi-end technical jobs when required. Ideally 1 day a week but would consider a couple of days a fortnight or a small block every month. Role would probably end up being 50% doing bigger stuff (we have other operatives to do this work as well) and 50% developing other climbers, whether alongside in tree or from ground (more likely). There maybe an opportunity for the right person who is looking to get into a training role in the future. Get in touch to discuss further as role will be designed around candidate to a degree. Rates negotiable. 2. Qualified Climber looking at developing into a crew leader role. Ideally would want someone to be capable of medium size crown reduction / capable of rigging medium sized tree (60ft).
