There’s that dumb arse assumption habit rearing its butt ugly persistent head again. The problem being the “suitable punishment” is not being fairly applied. Can you point out to me where Tommy Robinson has ever broke a policewoman’s nose, gang raped a child, downloaded child porn, beheaded an innocent soldier, blown up innocent concert goers etc etc etc etc etc SP and the fact the sentencing council wanted to factor in ethnicity and religion into sentencing 🤷♂️🤷♂️two tier justice in front of our own eyes.

That’s your opinion J, what it pays scant regard to is “ democracy “ just because you don’t like the result you can’t choose to ignore it. Or in the EUs case send it back out for another vote. I voted for brexit then and I’d do the same again, probably more so after watching how the EU behaved during the negotiations and just now with the coward Starmer. You think the EU is a force of good, I think Europe would be a far better place without it. By all means trade but the overreach from within the unelected bureaucracies that dominate the EU has gone way too far.

What a perfect example job to discuss multi tree rigging. Assuming the majority needed rigging at all, I would have limbed the left one up to a very small top and installed a rigging point. Then I would have rigged the right one down on that, pulling the pieces away from the wire and wall. I might have done it top down in sticklebrick pieces or bottom up in single/multi limbs or a mixture of both. I certainly wouldn't have done any negative rigging on the right one and very probably wouldn't have done any on the left either (since the lawn was apparently fair enough game for a massive top anyway). Why did you cut out the rigging point furthest from the wire and wall first? Why were you negative rigging?

Mine used to, changed exhaust cover to a twin port, which improved matters by reducing heat on the chain brake handle.

Hi Everyone I'm changing careers into arboriculture and have my CS30 and CS31 tickets. My CS38 course begins 23rd June, and I'll be looking to schedule my CS39 shortly afterwards (all self-funded). As of July I'll be available to start work immediately (at the moment I'm working my notice period at my current employer). I'm looking for opportunities in the North West of England (ideally). I'm based in south Manchester, but have access to a car and wouldn't be against relocating for the right company/opportunity. If you know anybody looking for reliable, hard-working people then feel free to pass my number over to them: 07759558045. Many thanks in advance for any help you can provide. Ian Taylor

Meanwhile that’s another record day 800 at 42k a year so another £33 million plus per year for the good old British worker to find. Labour are definitely the party of growth when it comes to illegal immigration and spending other peoples money.

Way more money in being a service engineer! Much less effort too. Are you really ready to start at the bottom of a career again?

The intake valve wiggle at the end of the motion that you describe is actually a good thing, being the compression release motion of the camshaft. I'm dealing with an engine with a broken comp release at the moment. But the lifter or crank could be bent, you wont really know unless you take the sump off. You may have to do this anyway once you are sure the valves are set ok. Its worth spending a fair bit of time to get the valves adjusted properly. The engine turns counter clockwise when looking from above. Use a headtorch to see when the piston is at top dead centre, then go on 1/4 inch. I would get a feeler guage. turn the engine over a few times, then check again. Black smoke sounds like the valve seal issue. But it might clear up on running. You should be able to move the valves in and out a bit by hand, do they all feel the same?

I am cool with my neighbours bin emptying being prioritised over mine though, as I’d rather not look at everyone else’s crap blowing about in the wind - and I can trust myself to manage mine.
