Todays job, complete disassembly of an old pioneer p25, inspect, decide it can be brought back to life, and rebuild, waiting for the delivery of piston, rings, and barrel, and hopefully it can resume duty in the ever increasing armory.

I understood most of that. Where do we stand on animal welfare standards? i.e. we lead the world (UK) but the EU lets it’s other countries treat their own ‘rules’ like very rough guidance. The EU are a cancer. Brexit has been a total shambles, and we are worse off for sure, but being tethered to those self-serving, bureaucratically crazy hypocritical twats what was made 52% vote to get out of their evil grasp.

What was the country of origin ie where was it mined SP. How simple a question is that. This is Arbtalk not PMQ’s no need for the lies or ignoring the question, just a simple honest answer for a change.

A bloke better come and install it in the tree for you for that.

Hi Steve, I might be tempted by this. I'm full time atm but that may change in the near future. For now though, do you have anything available on Saturdays? Cheers

I remember when the merch was given out as freebies by dealers when you bought stuff from them. I always had stihl hats, t shirts and a calendar with lovely semi naked ladies. Now it costs money i never do.

Near enough the same I think, that compare above says net weight but its with them fitted. I'll have 3 LXT batteries and 6 XGT soon. Looks like they release the UC029 today but nowhere has it listed or prices yet, so I will miss the ebay 20% on that...

I looked online for a dedicated adhesive for bonding linings,, this came up,,Henkel Loctite Teroson SB PL605-4 Black is a one component, thixotropic, solvent-based, heat curing adhesive. It features excellent resistance to chemicals, thermal shock, and water, as well as withstands temperatures exceeding 315.5 °C. Ideal for bonding clutch, break, and other friction materials to metal. but as the price is somewhat prohibitive ,,[think both kidneys, spleen, liver, heart, and anything else that be salvaged],, I guess I'll be using a proprietary two part bonding adhesive such as araldite, or similar. thanks for the help fellers👍

I don't suppose any of you chainsaw collector types have a coil for a pioneer nu17 laying up a dusty corner you wish to part with for a fair price.. or a primer assembly, they are all I need to get her running.

Husky 560xp mk1. Vibration when in the cut.......?
Haironyourchest replied to medroberts's topic in Chainsaws
Is the flywheel all there? Missing fins? Or a lump of something wedged between the fins? Is there slop in the wrist (knuckle?) needle bearing/s that connect the piston with the crank? Are the antivibe mounts all in working order? -
had a main bearing go on mine when i purchased it from new after 2 weeks of commercial forestry felling had it repaired under warranty from my local husky dealer. i pulled the saw out of commercial forestry work and just used it as my firewood saw its been fine since . im not sure if there was a batch issue forbearing issue from factory ? but iv seen reports of a few failures on these

I had one once, got the thing going and it started to set fire to my lawn that was tinder dry and was due to the down firing exhaust pipe outlet. I believe I fitted a piston for another model saw in the thing as the original was toast. Anyway, it worked just fine.
