You must have a shipment number so that should tell you where it has come from. If the duty is paid directly to USP then I can't see how a scammer will get the funds, it is usually a dodgy link, false web site etc. If you don't pay it, the parcel will go back to the US. You could enquire who the sender is.

You missed the operative word Davey - "World". China being part of the whole. Read the words.

I'm into that. Prefer my HARS mind, but that would get many people out of a sticky situation

Plus, big biscuits can bounce once then roll right across the road and hit the barn wall opposite. Apparently.

Help with pricing felling Douglas.

Anyway, I thought about it last night this morning I just passed it on to the biomass firm who took my waste wood. A man’s got to know his (and his machinery’s) limitations. -

I thought this would be so useful for access into the tree; in reality I've used it perhaps five times. Hopefully someone else can prove its worth. In near perfect condition. Has been stored in a large shed so never out in the weather. I suggest collection is best due to the thing's weight but a courier could be priced or a meet halfway perhaps - where there's a will there's a way. Jon£125

The pics tell the story. Worn perhaps a dozen times; not for me. In very good condition; the blemishes seen in close-up are superficial exhaust burns 🤪; the ballistic material beneath is undamaged. Size is Large but don't let that fool you; I have a 24" waist and 32" inside leg. I'll use Post Office to send.£90

There is nothing in this "farmer 40cc size" that is lighter. 3510 is much lighter and has some fun factor to it, but less powerful.

Welcome to the world of log burners, frustrating because you see trees all around but no wood in your drive. You can add yourself to the tip sites (link above). These work well if a tree surgeon wants to get rid of 'waste' - usually softwoods but these burn well. Usually only if the tree surgeon is working outside their usual area - locally they will have arrangements in place for regular waste disposal. So it works but you won't be turning them away. One thing to note is adding a consideration - a donation or whatever - for them - it might make your advert stand out. Also note that for example if you live in the middle of a road with a tip site at either end, why would they drive extra to get to you. The fewer barriers you can add the better, an open drive where they can reverse into will get better results than 'chuck the logs over the garden wall', or 'phone to get the gate opened'. Second thing to think about is that (for now) chainsaws are not quiet - you can usually hear them working nearby if you are out and about outside - can take a walk in that direction and ask directly - you never know but least will happen is they'll take your name and address for future reference (to be thrown out of course next time the van is tidied). Getting that first contact and building a relationship works well. Note that you won't ever get seasoned / dried oak logs (that's a lie... I did but just once) - it will likely be leylandii - but if you are happy that each log doesn't last as long, more work to split for the same heat output then take what comes your way. One thing that worked well for me till I used it all up was to ask a local land owner permission to take away a couple of fallen trees, a bit more work but it kept me warm for a winter.
