I’ve just learned caterpillars are Chinese would you consider ?

Well that's the other fun part, the land has serious subsidence concerns and history which is why they planted trees there. So he then gets planning permission, sells off the land to some cowboy developers and houses start sinking into the ground including those already there so another cause for concern but according to NPPF that's the developers problem. Coal Authority basically say it's all fine but loads of houses could have serious issues so be careful...

Well if we are here to learn things, does the reconsidered cut after deciding against that first step cut have a name, not even a minute in to the video? V cut? Please outline your reasoning behind using it instead of an inboard step cut in this situation specifically, and suggest three positives, negatives, or otherwise differences between the two for usage in general. Five points available.

Hybrid wood & electric cookers
tommydog replied to Lucan's topic in Log burning stoves and fireplaces
Fast forward to 2025, what options are there available? My research indicates hardly anything: 1) Thornhill 5-Oven Wood Burning Electric Hybrid Range Cooker - Available but very expensive. 2) Rizzoli Combined kitchens - Combines wood as solid fuel with electric but very modern look. Not something that would suit our setting. 3) ESSE 990 Hybrid - out of production 4) There is the Marshall that is referenced here, but I am not sure of the model number? 5) AGA Integrated Modules - these are independent units matching the ascetic look of the main cooker and are designed to bolt directly to the left-hand side of the main cooker. They are pretty expensive. Are there any other options available in UK? I am happy to consider something old from years gone by. Ideally I would like an electric hob with wood burning oven. If nothing is available, I wonder if an existing cooker could be custom adapted? Any ideas? -
Sounds like an excellent clone. They even have managed to replicate the finer points of husky ownership.

I do feel for old Greg, (based on what we know so far). He a bit annoying at times, but I don't believe that he's really a wrong'un. I don't reckon he'll be the next Russell Brand or Harvey Weinstein or anything like that. He's just somewhat of an idiot and a dinosaur who's not kept up with the times. I hope I don't get proved wrong in time! Sorry dude, I must have momentarily taken leave of that all important common sense.

FYI Mazda 2 rear shock absorber and bracket is about £100 each (this weeks MOT), Mazda 6 will be a bit more? just if you decide to give yours a proper work out!

2295 I think. You could cut 100mm off the ROPS -
You have any luck with this Jose? My 800 has faired far better, i think its about 3 years old now, but it just started running like a bag of crap last week. I’m tempted to blame fuel - all of my machines have been run on aspen for about 5 years now, zero issues. I couldn’t get hold of any so had to buy a tank of the husky xp alkalyte fuel. Within the week my t540iii’s spark plug burnt out, my 550ii was running odd and my 800 is basically useless. Big saws are fine though…

Have you had the stump removed? If not I would do that first and then remove any big offshoot roots, easy enough to do with a mattock by hand. Bay leaves are fairly waxy so poison will probably run off before it can be absorbed. You can get an additive to help the poison to stick or in the olden days you would just add a bit of diesel.

Good ideas but we'll need to find a government with balls and teeth first.

As a few have stated above, it comes down to geographical location and if anyone else is supplying that type of equipment. In Hampshire there’s already a few companies doing it so most of the client base is sewn up, unless you can provide a similar service for cheaper! In the hire game it’s the service not so much the machines that will hold clients for example my preferred suppliers will allow me to collect the machine the afternoon before or return the machines the next morning without charging an additional day, they also have excellent machine support if the machines go down! Good luck if you do take the jump.
