I have not suggested Mr Musk or any other entrepreneur is altruistic. What I said is that he has made his billions by providing something people want. If you have a minute look at the vacancies page on the SpaceX website. There are hundreds of current vacancies. He employs about 120,000 people and most are on six figure salaries. My view is that commerce is what ultimately creates wealth. Governments do not. The greatest achievement in history of taking people out of poverty is 800,000 in a quarter of a century. This happened in China this century and it was all down to commerce. Aided and abetted by government of course, but actually brought about by thousands of entrepreneurs. Whether you like Musk’s politics or not he has made a huge contribution to wealth, not just his own. I can’t comment on Grok as I don’t use it. I see a place for AI; though I also see challenges as with all the major developments of the last couple of hundred years. I do agree political divisions are getting deeper. And for some reason most people seem unable to discuss and debate these matters in a civil manner which I think is a loss to everyone. I suspect you and I would not agree what is driving all this though!

Why not use a hot air gun?

It is a scaffold transporting lorry so the weight is centred over the axle and it carries fixed but long lengths.

Got a similar set to purposely remove the small drive gear support bearing in the removable lower cover of the Stihl long reach and kombi hedge cutters. Got fed up cracking the alloy cover trying to lever out what was left of the bearing, and having to replace the cover as well. The very smallest blind puller just fits and does a great job.

Labour in exchange for logs? - North Norfolk

Anyone got unseasoned logs in Lake District Cumbria please I also have my own saw so can come and chop felled wood up thanks jack -
TBH, both helicoil or Timesert will do an effective job if done correctly. One bit of advice is to use a decent quality tap and usually a taper one otherwise there is a distinct chance that the tap will go in at an angle causing sealing issues. I use Volkel taps as they are decent and not OMG expensive, avoid all these cheap Chinese alternatives as the job is as strong as the quality of the receiving thread.

Incorrect, you describe an offset D which is the opposite of an HMS. Rhino and phantom are both HMS carabiners. Halbmastwurf sicherung translates as Munter hitch belay carabiner. Halb= half, mastwurf = mast hitch, sicherung = belay. From the Shadow HMS Note the last line, its designed to take three clove hitches. The slight asymmetry will not cause any problems.

I apologise, I blew the photo up and what I thought was strong was a thin branch on a loop with the sun shining on it But I couldn't see any crooks !

Joe Newton started following Dmm Carabiners

No, it isn't. HMS carabiners are designed to transfer the load along the spine of the carabiner. The nose of HMS carabiners is asymmetrical so will orient the equipment out of alignment. The DMM Rhino is designed to keep the pulley, tether legs and hitch eyes beneficial aligned with no chance of sliding over the spine of the carabiner.

Very odd! Has that been extended or has the rear most axle fallen off?

Thats the one. 🙂

So Mick . Who do you get to do that bit then mate ? Genuine question 😃

People expect a bit of theatre when I come round to price. A decent pick-up sets the tone, sign written, a strong sensual man wearing some kind of tartan jacket, an aura that says ‘yes I will do your trees for lots of money, and yes I will squire your wife whilst you film it, but no touching or joining in’
-
If time and money were no worries then bank I am working on actually has a wall down to the road. Would take some time but it would be great to reinstate it but alas I am both short on time and money, and ultimately it is a tenanted farm, so would be foolish to put my time and effort into a vanity project such as that when I have more blackthorn to tango with..

Except mine will be mint. Good reference though. I'll rewatch that.

Right you are. Next hedge please.
