  2. Back on the wind blown sycamore job with more stokboards for access. Going well. First load took 30 minutes. Stockpiling on the drive now, should have the track off the grass today.
  3. ray church

    Garden of Raymond

Tip onto grass opposite the house. Anytime any day.

  5. Maise gill ? Quite common on Oak stumps /.
  6. Hi All, Can anyone help ID the old remains of this fungus bracket. Several old brackets in the buttress of a mature oak tree. Suspect Pseudoinonotus dryadeus?
  7. helpful comments as always 😅 does that look underpowered?
  8. Thank you very interesting. I am aware of the difference in living standards post war in the USA and the UK and much of Europe. But I wasn't aware about the trade so I will be reading about this. I often say to people I know that WW2 was in effect won by the USA and lost by Europe. Which is not to deny the incredible efforts of the UK, France, and a host of other nations - it is just that even the so-called winners in Europe were losers in reality.
  9. Sorry, another bad night's sleep. So was late up and shuffled plans and now in Shettleston in Glasgow promoting my wares! Bad, Air, Daze.
  10. Well someone has to feed the TDS sufferers 42. Question Question Question Question 🤔🤔no thanks lad, been there done that too many times, I might try SP/TA’s tactics and just act as though you never asked any, you seem ok with that.
  11. Douglas or larch I would say.

  16. Donald and Nigel are off to the WEF soon..how does that sit with you, Gareth?
  17. And you think Starmer and his useless clan of European despot's are doing any better than virtue signalling and doing diddly squat?. If Donald is playing chess, Starmer and the EU are barely able to play tag in the playground.

    Jokes???

  19. As the most prolific poster in this thread, do you Davey, think this episode is to be applauded: Trump's attempted takeover of Greenland? If not, then how should Europe counter it, is Mr Starmer on the right track, or should he display more balls? Fair point about Maggie, but she had a far easier job with Reagan. She wasn't dealing with a narcissistic tangerine toddler. If indeed he is playing 6D chess against a grand master, then maybe Starmer should deploy the King again. I.e. threaten to cancel his USA visit. In seriousness, the promise of, or threat to withhold special treats seems to be the only way to deal with Trump. Much like any other toddler. Alternatively, Norway could just give him another big gold medal for not invading Greenland. What a ridiculous situation we find ourselves in. Regardless of the democratic process of the USA being followed, it's naive to think that the damage that the current Potus is inflicting left, right and centre is confined only to the USA.
  20. I got about 30 seconds to brush a saw over the end yesterday. I can't say the smell was distinctive; not one that shouted Douglas at me but that is a possibility isn't it.

  24. Morning, we got given cake yesterday too! Still in the minus here but around 4 degrees in Inverness where we are working so that’s much better. Week 3 of the council job, extracting the smaller stuff with a hired in little Loader, really impressed with the comfort of this 1. Collected my new to me trailer too for the tractor so that’ll be getting filled up. The wee 1 is fare growing and certainly gets her hanger from me! Man she was raging last night, 5 bottles in 4 hours 🤔😂
  25. Morning all, Sunshine today hopefully. Felling the remains of a spilt conifer and a small acer then making a start with the mewp on a willow. Removing the crown over a few obstacles. Tomorrow the young lad will be climbing what I can’t reach. Have a good safe day
  26. Good Morning More Motorway madness. Have a great one .
