  2. So let's make up an imaginary idea. Let's play imagining that you are telling the truth and not lying, that bringing up Marks past mental health conditions is not an attack on him. Why did you mention it? It wasn't pertinent to the conversation on here, it was well in the past and certainly not 'making the news today', is there a reason for bringing it up to the conversation again? [now in reality I am not expecting you to be able to form a reasoned and rational response, anticipating your usual insults thrown out like a baby in throwing toys out of a pram when it doesn't get its own way, but I'm willing to give your answer a read] However You constantly make fun of, weaponise, attack because of past problems. The focus of your current abuse is Mark, but it could be any member who dares to open up that could be the target of your venom. It might be worth reiterating that male mental health is a silent killer, 'man up', 'say nothing' attitude which needs to change and then arses like you come along to poke fun of and to throw insults out at those who do open up. Makes everyone else clam up until you find them at the end of the rope and the repeated comment around the grave "if only they had told someone". Well, if the response they get is you is there any surprise that men don't?"
  3. The other thing about a loose ring is when it comes to emptying you can hopefully lift the ring away to get at the last layer, rather than having to reach right down or climb inside like an IBC.

  7. So I'd say £40/m seems maybe a bit on the high side to me, BUT we don't use binders here in Cheshire . Ok, so here's my two'penerth likely starting rate at £15/m, plus EXTRA for the following : Separating out any old fencing wire, or reinstating same etc If overstood/taller than say, 4m. If pleachers over 6'' diameter If binders needed If Chipping up or habitat piling of brash needed If it's got lots of Dog-rose, Blackthorn -or been layed in the last decade. Difficult access ? Roadside/ TM issues ? Gapping up, obviously extra too. If it's a juicy proposition hedge, a bit like in Alex's photo, then I might turn a blind eye to the above! 🤗
  8. Had enough of the rain so headed off out of it, 24 degrees and really rather pleasant, the jobs will still be there when I return.
  9. SNP rotten to the core, literally ignoring all the established legal norms and protocols. All those years taking money from the gullible fools who believed the propaganda they pumped out. Strange that one of the sites most politically active members, an SNP supporter is silent on the utter corruption at the heart of the Scottish government.
  10. Had similar many times work at schools, that's one reason I don't work at them anymore.
  11. Morning all, Dry here. Off the the NEC looking at camper vans/motorhomes. Got to yesterday’s job pruning sycamore next to school building. Lack of communication in school office had resulted scaffolding under part of the tree and roofers working on it. Managed to get the job done, but had to sit around waiting.

  16. Morning, still in the minus here with a covering of snow. Can’t steam clean my machines, they are caked in road salt from coming back on the trailer yesterday. I bought a diesel heater in a tool box off Amazon, £80. 5 litre fuel tank. 12v, 24v or 240 v. It’s great so I’ll set that up beside the hose and steam cleaner later and hopefully get everything washed. Heading for physio at 9.30am then I need to collect the mog from the fabricators. No 1 around today to get a lift so might dust off the e-bike , get wrapped up and go the 10 mile pedal. Have. Good 1.
  17. Desk day today, expenses, new records system, emails blah blah blah. Be good y'all! Sew, Shah, List, Twerkers, Parr, Tee.
  18. Good Morning hump day again! New site. Alton for a few days at least. Have fun.

  26. Yesterday
  27. Yes exactly! In the west we send a design to a factory and they say 'that's gonna cost £100 to make'. In China they say 'how much do you want to pay and we'll make it to suit the cost'. Back to front but its how it is. I think western companies get greedy, and think of a ridiculously low figure to increase profit, then wonder why no one is happy with the quality!
  28. Was going to say just this, 2 quite different although not entirely opposite results
