Not any more you can’t Gramps. I was proper pissed off dealing with them. Even when shown the evidence that I used to be able to drive up to 12t MAM they denied that was the case. Yet when I was stopped driving that lorry plod said it was ok. It was like a little Britain sketch where computer says no. The ‘tard I was dealing with could only repeat the mantra “those that passed before 1997 etc” I asked her to check what the restrictions were in 1991 when I passed. At that time they had changed the entitlements to be in line with the EU and it was 12t. The only response was those that passed after 1997 etc.

You seem confused again. Palestinian ≠ Hamas ≠ Gazan Jewish ≠ Zionist ≠ Israeli 1,983 ≠ 59,866
- Today

You have to ask yourself why Egypt Jordan etc etc don’t want a lot to do with HAMAS, I think you probably know the answer Mike.
-
Oh ok So....who would make up the coalition and how would they get to Egypt? Do your coalition forces have a history of military co operation. Where would they land in Egypt? Fwiw Egypt dosnt give a flying toss about Palestine, so your coalition forces would have to conquer Egypt first. After somehow sailing up the Med or the Red sea, crossing Africa or Saudi.... Be quite an operation...possibly unprecedented, have you considered applying for Sandhurst?
-
my preferred option through Egypt, but an armada would do - China not really necessary unless US would nuke UK, France, Ireland, Norway, Spain et al to save IDF being expunged in Gaza - you can't bake good cakes without getting a bit of flour on the floor Recognizing Palestinian state - wow really going to stop the IDF now they feel invincible The United States is all that's stopped other countries from intervening US gets to decide everything - until hopefully one day it doesn't
-
Who...um...would make up this " coalition force" and how would they get to Palestine? Also China has historically the good sense to not meddle in the ME. So if it started now, what would be in it for the CCP? * adjusts mirrored ray-bans,re wraps my keffiyeh, lights a roll up while wistfully gazing at a Yassir Arifat picture*

I think the op has a number of answers to his question, seems a sensible adult to me, I'm sure he'll make a sensible adult decision as to which answer he deems fit to take on board. my observation is he already stated that choice.
-
OP. It's not going to be worth the hassle asking. Just find a tree you like and decide whether you respect the owner's property rights or not. Or indeed if the tree is on public property, remember that you're the public. The same logic by which you may shelter from rain under a traffic warden's skin stretched onto a frame btw.
-
Theres no grown men here, we are tree surgeons.
-
Yeah, approach a golf club as a grown man wanting to climb trees. That'll work.
-
Coz I'm old I can tow a space shuttle with a moped 🙂
-
Generally things are only banned if they become a nuisance. Use the correct gear and dont fall is the answer to that one. Anyway some other suggestions are cricket/golf clubs tho they can be somewhat public. My training and tickets were done at a cricket ground in a small village. They gained some light pruning of the trees and a dead birch felled.

I’ve asked you SP to stop bringing my ****************ing family into your sick twisted Trump rape fantasy, where I am this weekend is none of your bloody business and it’s got absolutely nothing to do with where Trump is, so stop your twisting of what you say and shut your sick cowardly mouth. Alternative be a ****************ing man PM me and I’ll see you face to face in Glasgow if that suits you better.

Good point: Haul your rope bag/backpack, with rope flaked and not coiled into it, off the ground - dogs like to piss on things that aren't theirs. My experience of climbing big trees in parks is that the public are generally inquisitive and supportive. Don't use a tree that people are likely to be going underneath. A bounced dislodged bit of deadwood would rapidly diminish your hero status.
-
The comment was about his family, and you should be ashamed.
-
The comment isn't about his family of course, it is a lot more that his hero, Trump, has a liking for the young girls. To be fair, I wouldn't be letting any daughters anywhere near Trump either.
-
Slightly off topic, but after WW2, my grandfather (Royal Engineers) was posted to Palestine and with the aid of a bulldozer helped clear the bombed King David Hotel you mention above
-
I enjoy the spectacle of grown men keyboard wrestling with strangers as much as the next man, but I think dragging someone’s kids / daughters into it, just to score petty points in beyond low.
-
And it works the other way a good friend of mine applied for his provisional a few weeks after me I got a prov back he got a full licence, he’s changed address multiple times in the last forty odd years still gets a full licence back

Magnolia getting too large, no I.D. Keep or cut down?
Dan Maynard replied to Little Splodge's question in Homeowners Tree Advice Forum
This is why the usual advice for pruning magnolia is not to, they can sprout back with a vengeance with vertical growth that's not as attractive as the original tree. If it's too big though, can be the only answer. Bay is also one that gets big, you need to chop that back. They'll tolerate any abuse though. -
