Apparently it’s a great app, but I already know what they are. 👍

Dave1976 started following Cordless hedge trimmer expected life span
-
Hello, Bought a battery (18v) no name hedge trimmer about 5 years ago (3/4 inch tooth spacing. Used it on bramble, some really thick ones for many hours. And lots of managing thin wild overgrowth around fences ... (cuttingvthin branches). Used it in a process of clearing the land, where it could manage the branch thickness. I am fully aware that it is the border line of what it was designed for. But it stood its ground. Today it broke. Upon dissasemby found pieces of needle bearing in gear housing. No idea where that bearing was originaly. Took it to pieces and trashed it, since this is one off equipment, with no spare parts available. Blades were surprisingly well made, kept an edge really well. Gears to my surprise were in good shape too. Probably got twice the money worth what i paid for from this trimmer useful life. Not complaining there. Same model is not available any more. I also have cordless secuteurs (stihl asa20) and loppers to aid trimming/reduction hedge work. What is life expectancy of hedge trimmer ? (Years, working hours etc.) Do you have any suggestions to buy a new one (have makita and einhell 18v batteries) ?

I'm sure that the class would enjoy it anyway.

Back with the flock. This is why farmers can’t go on holiday. There were five chicks from mother two for a few days. Now there’s only one. Rats probably.

Good Morning All.

Calling @eggsarascal, 48 hours have elapsed since the people you know saw said buses containing around 100 asylum seekers, reading broadly it seems that the rumours started being refuted about 6 or so days ago, so there is a irregularity there and we still have no evidence apart from "my mate said..." Care to comment?

Hopefully makes the difference.. I got about 8miles from home and had to ring for a fire extinguisher as I thought it was going to burst in to flames !! Local Valtra mechanic said straight off it’s the brake servo. -

Morning, rain through the night and temperature has dropped. Think we have a wet week ahead now. Tidying up the last of the storm work and a road side cut back to stop the school bus getting smacked with branches.

Windy here again, maybe sand blasted on the beach! Blew, Wails.

Ok then, Perhaps this really isn't the best of examples, but last month, I did a fallen tree -blocking minor road type of job. The unfortunate tree owner was blissfully unaware that their tree had just collapsed, across the access road to the local golf club and some neighbours houses. I explained the situation to them, and charged the princely sum of £180, for clearing vehicle access, that same evening. It was half a mile from home.. The following day, I texted a quotation for approx £900 to cover the full clear-up, with suggestions for local tree consultants, to give a report on their other roadside trees . Both invoices were paid promptly by a very happy new customer, with the strong likelihood of some future work, too.. Sorry about the photo, seems like there's some issue with uploading the same. After 5 attempts at reducing the size, we'll just have to live without it !

Yeah. Valtra mechanic they can corrode after a while and cause brakes to stick on slightly. I changed one this evening.
