  1. Longest ramp, lowest angle for me.
  2. You really shouldn't have compressed flammable bees in transit, that's very dangerous.
  3. What's wrong with the 362? We have one at work, it's a great saw. So good that yesterday we bought 2 more of them.
  4. I buy Stihl ones off ToolsToday. Up to 36", plus extenders for bigger bars. Stihl ones are the best, don't buy the Husqvarna scabbards, they're crap.
  5. They often use them to steal catalytic converters. Few years ago a mate's fire station in Fleet had their cutters stolen, soon after that lots of cars in NW London had cats cut off with the shears.
  6. Pretty much this. Been looking at doing it with my 18' Ifor. 2' overhang at the back. An empty 20' is 2,200kg empty so within my payload. Set it on blocks or axle stands and lower in stages with jacks. Also tempted to build a mobile gantry to do it with. That your truck?
  7. Pay at pump... Luckily my local is a Tesco with pay at pump.
  8. Yep, they drink fuel like no tomorrow. ?
  9. You can't be getting your chopper out in the strip club mate. ?
  10. Agree with all of this. Drop down tailgate is really useful and easy, but you can't have an overhanging load. (Unless you remove the tailgate, which is very heavy and awkward.) I have ally ramps on mine, but they were £410 and there's no means of really securing them easily. As others said, they can be very slippery too.
  11. A saw with a 48" bar is a big, heavy, unwieldy thing!
  12. My single rear wheel tows just fine. Twin rear wheel carries weight better and will hide being heavy better with a lower legal payload as a trade-off. Mine has twin rear springs and a 3,500kg tow rating. Carries its legal load just fine. If you want to run heavy a twin wheel won't look heavy by ride height or tyre deformation.
  13. Was that you i passed on the A3 yesterday? ?
  14. My Sprinter does that and it doesn't even need to be wet/muddy/slippery. I'd love a locking diff for it but they're £££.
  15. No, they have two. A front axle and a rear axle. Unless yours is horse-drawn. ?
  16. You probably could if you went slow and gentle, but that's really getting into 880 territory. 42" is about the limit for a 660. Off the shelf 48" bar and chain will be .404 so you'll need a new sprocket too.
  17. 365 and 372 are the same chassis, largely identical.
  18. Needs a high top air filter and a full wrap. ?
  19. Bear in mind energy efficiency between engines and motors. 212 batteries will cut much more than 10L. Electric motors, especially brushless ones, are highly efficient.
  20. Yeah, i bought it for milling mostly. Only used it a few times to cut large stumps low and ring up a big conifer. Feels like a workout ringing up with it!
  21. Replacing some driveshaft bearings in a stump grinder today. Couldn't be bothered to do it on-site, loaded it on the van and took it home. Found more shagged bearings so not finished yet. ☹
  22. You got these photos? I've only seen one from their official announcement, can't see much, just someone cutting with it. Shame it's a damn year away, i want one now!
  23. Oh i see. So how did it come about getting to test it? Did they contact you with a request to test it under condition of privacy? Very cool getting to play with one for months, while other people were still speculating on what it'd be like. Yeah, i've not used an 880, only my 3120 but that's far from run in and quite underwhelming at the moment, only had about 3 tanks through it. Would like to have a go with one that size with the additional performance. You better get two then, we all know swapping bars is bullshit. ?
  24. For good reason. It's a brilliant saw. I recently bought a used 550 MK II, only used it once but seems just as good. Very light, manoeuvreable, powerful. I'm all for the new Autotune/M-Tronic and other associated advances. Looking forward to seeing Husqvarna's new 90cc-class saw when there's more info.
  25. Wonder why they didn't use a new one for their video. ? Not big on Stihls, but it is tempting if its performance is as good as you say it is.
