  1. And don’t forget the ignore this member button. This helps very well.?
  2. Just in the off chance...I googled 346 oil leak. is this your problem by any chance?
  3. I would check the bar number and see if it is listed as compatible with the saw. wasnt there some sort of gasket for some bars (but witch I don’t remember, cannon ?? Maybe ) so it didn’t leak out of the wrong place..
  4. If I leave a saw that I know I’m not going to use for some time. I Run them till there’s zero fuel left in the carb.. although it means quite a few pulls to get the fuel back into the carb in the spring. others may do it differently, but bucking billy sqirts a bit of fuel in the carb throat. Saves pulling as it fires almost straight up and sucks the fuel, you may have to do it twice before the carb has enough fuel.
  5. Now I read more.and still no pics...☹️ ..I think What’s all the faff about, just do the back cut first, wedge it up... do the front cut... get ya high lifts in and help pop it over.. and just maybe tell the groundies it’s Saturday night you didn’t pull a girl so you got a yank yer self?. So yank a bit harder ??? we want pics of tree, and stuffs ??
  6. I’ve been readin, then me thinks ahh. I got a pdf with things in .. so here’s a fews pics for ya ta stew over.? not sayin it will be easy. But it’s a way
  7. It’s a nice looking tree from the outside, and you’ve been asked to bid on it.? But It looks like it’s been left to rot for a few yrs.. so what’s all the rush.. If you offer a little more than fire wood, and it turns out to be 1/2 rotten, when you take your time setting up all your expensive kit. It will be expensive firewood.. or you could offer a slice/slab of the cake so to speak, then let the owner sit on it till it’s dry and sell it on..
  8. I was thinking the same as I was reading down, if you like the tree and want to keep it. make it more safe by use of some cabling
  9. I wonder what the moisture content is..
  10. Beech are very hardy hedges.. it would take a lot to knock it out for good.. edit:: I pollarded a beech hedge that was 15ft tall down to 5ft... it took a few yrs to get going. But it going good again now.. oh. I know what it says about taking back an overgrown beech hedge. so what I’m saying is just tell um it will take some time..?
  11. I thought this thread was about being a little over loaded, and posting pics of knobheads that you seen. Well then I see peeps showing what tools they really are by posting pics of there grossly overloaded vehicles. ? i agree we have all done it. Some 10% others 20 or 30% .... but your gonna be pissing into the wind sooner than you think ....it just needs that person with a dash cam or even a passenger with a phone and recording it as they come up behind you (because your going so slow) and then send it to the boys that will empty your Wallet and kick you in the sack at the same time. Good luck in court. You will need it..???
  12. simple answer to a probem is, and to get some good answers (or bad),,,is to give as much info as poss in the beginning . But to withhold info and then spurt out later when someone asks/gives an answer, just wastes there brain power and the time typing the answer. Is Just belittling them so to speak.. But if you have given the info before, and they have not read the thread properly in the first place, then you gain the right.. good of luck in your quest to resolve your problem..
  13. Ahh ok, I thought it was just his home...in which case why is his neighbour not on his side or is the tree not near the tree owners home.. a pic answer is 1000 questions
  14. So just for the record, how about a drawing (as you prolly don’t want to add pics) of said mature oak trees size (dbh)as well as canopy cover area. and also your house distance as well as your neighbours houses.. silly question but why are your neighbours not getting a problem.
  15. Many peeps in the USA use motorcycle 2 stroke.in saws But.. as you did not say what saw your using. I know Husky's need a better oil than the stihl red stuff. As it’s not up to the rating. So with that in mind, look at the recommended oil rating the saw manufacturer states. And check what the oil your gonna buy says on the bottle..
  16. Clint Eastwood WWW.INDEPENDENT.CO.UK Clint Eastwood isn't dead. But people keep saying he is WWW.INDEPENDENT.CO.UK Clint Eastwood is not dead. He wasn't dead in 2017, either. But that hasn't stopped a range of people... edit the correct link...? Not deady-yeti ?
  17. It’s so he can use it one handed ?. I guess you can dream up what his other hand is doing in the bucket..?
  18. Edit the post title with (fake news) at end ?
  19. Husky’s seem to have a prob when hot and starting, I think it’s down to the heat getting to the carb and vapourising the fuel. That said I’ve read some are a bit more prone to it than others. one other thing I’ve seen before, where it was the spark plug (not a husky). When Cold it would start and run fine. Switch it off and a few mins later, it would not start until it had cooled enough. this prob was cured by changing the spark plug,, I guess while running the flywheel cooled the cylinder and plug. But when it was stopped the heat must have changed the resistance of the plug enough for it to not spark under compression, I say this because if you took it out it sparked ok. i'm sure someone else will post more info of what other things it could be.
  20. Yes it was in the news 2 days ago, someone getting lost. And here Three-words 'map' used in rescue WWW.BBC.CO.UK How three words - "weekend", "foggy" and "earphones" - rescued a mother and child after a car crash. Edit, and peeps in 3rd world countries, that have no postcode are using it Giving everyone an address WWW.BBC.CO.UK About four billion people worldwide live in places that have no proper address, but a UK-based small...
  21. A quick call / email to the manufacturer would give you the answer.. there should be a batch no it could be a special colour for someone, most companies over run while producing so they meet the quote and quality. although also while making the plugs (plastic injection ) it could have been the end of a colour so they used another colour...
  22. I think you will find there is a 4x4 berlingo type thing, although it my only be available in France, ie lefty hand drive edit... cream yourself over this..
  23. Like others say, you have to move the Asender up so the cam opens up and you then can continue to open the cam. Or put it another way, open the cam as you move the asender up, so always have room to move it up to open the cam. if that’s what your asking
  24. Impulse ? Or carb ...
