  1. NFU for my Ranger just over £500. Paid out promptly when woman sideswiped it, no fault to me attributed and no claims secure. Agent told me rates are increasing due to less availability in market.
  2. You're tempting me - stop it.
  3. If you put it through your chipper you'll make more money, looks as if it's up to the job!
  4. Back in the day got a day at Millbrook testing ground on a Company car day, lots of manufacturers there with range of cars to try on the test track and the oval. Great fun my favourite was a Honda S2000. Enjoy your day.
  5. Planted a Gunnii in our wood about 20 years ago, it grew like hell and is as tall as our mature Norway Spruces. Trunk is probably 18" dia. Load of gum nuts on it.
  6. Spot on diesel is not considered as dangerous as petrol is. Most of the signs in filling stations refer to petroleum spirit but the staff don't know the difference to diesel. 'Rules' are /assets/static/govuk-opengraph-image-dade2dad5775023b0568381c4c074b86318194edb36d3d68df721eea7deeac4b.png Carriage by private individuals of diesel (UN 1202), petrol (UN 1203) and kerosene (UN 1223) by road - GOV.UK WWW.GOV.UK Worth looking at rules for carriage of diesel for work - how many comply with that I wonder? I don't, wasn't aware of them but don't carry regularly and https://publishing.energyinst.org/__data/assets/file/0005/547862/WEB-VERSION-Red-Guide-18.10.18.pdf Interesting cans should not be filled in vehicles but should be on ground and only one open at a time - but that's guidance again for petrol.
  7. could be mycelium on bottom of one of rafters?
  8. 52cc 5in1 Multi Tool Garden Set: Chainsaw Trimmer Strimmer Brush Cutter WWW.SGS-ENGINEERING.COM The all in one solution to getting your garden in shape, the SGS 5 in 1 multi-tool strimmer, trimmer, and brush cutter comes with a safety helmet, 2-stroke and chain oil. I bought this one last year well made and works well.
  9. Sounds a right pain in the proverbial and so frustrating when it's a recurring issue that Ford can't/won't sort out. Don't suppose you are likely to be picked up by DVSA but fine isn't light if you are and insurance would be invalidated. Hope you get a resolution, must admit I was going to upgrade from my old ranger (2009) but now will keep it and just reduce mileage I do on it. I've been well pleased with it but the horror stories on the newer ones has quite put me off and alternative choices are limited and expensive.
  10. What are you complaining about Eggs? At least you got to see the doctor! No chance around here awful service from the local GP's. Get well soon.
  11. That's coming from the very top, you can see where it's running over the edge in front of the chimney pot and then down, looks as if there is some sort of cowl fitted. Looks as if it might be US based, don't know chimney standards they work to over there.
  12. Incredible doubtless the tranny and trailer were also knicked. Looked as if the owner landed a good one on the driver through the window.
  13. A very blurry sycamore?
  14. Tears rolling down my face - cracker!
  15. The other side of BBC impartiality ref comments about Boris' dad and alleged wife beating.
  16. Her mother and sister have just been on Sky news saying she is innocent and only told the lies she did including being trafficed abroad because nobody was listening to her.
  17. The portal website is saying all funding used for courses up to 31st march 24 but you can apply for courses from 1st April 2024.
  18. News to me never heard a squeak about it and I've been in regular contact with my Forestry Officer lately regarding Management Plan/Felling Licence and Countryside Stewardship.
  19. Now raining heavily.
  20. 2-3" snow here and still coming down heavily.
  21. You need permission from your neighbour or you are trespassing. If you can't get it then you would have to use Access to Neighbouring Land Act 1992. Simply this.
  22. I bought a 251 to replace my 450e. It sits in the shed, never have liked it, and I still use the Husky - just feels right and does most of what I need.
  23. My detached non-heated garage has double glazing as it was way cheaper than trying to put single glazed frames in.
  24. I think you could lose the will to live bringing all those teeth back to the same length plus a box or two of files. Buy a cheap chain off ebay or whatever if you just want to try it out
  25. If he is careful you'll get killed in the rush!
