  1. The 661 is a great milling saw up to about 30". This is where the 880 takes over. (30"+) Yes the 661 is better than a 660. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  2. I thought you'd want one. [emoji12][emoji106]
  3. Got a small labernum crotch milled this morning Nice colour.[emoji106] The yard space is finally getting organised. Milling table built. I can now drop the sides of the transit and roll logs straight off. [emoji3][emoji106] [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

  8. Got these 3 small 3'-4' logs Or some small crotch stuff next week. Also might have a small slab of crotch Laburnum. I'll be down with the beech and a few other bits about the 1st June. [emoji106]
  9. No, it's a bit of Elm. Got a few small logs left for coffee tables. This is the "sorbus" [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  10. I know a guy with a panther mill near deal. I'll ask him if you like Steve? [emoji106]

  12. I'll bring a couple of chunky bits next time. [emoji106]
  13. I use a simple system. A cube 10cm each side is a kilo. Ergo a 60cm log 2m long is about a half ton (green). I'm always 10-20% under weight. (Towing) [emoji106]

  20. It's not heartwood me thinks. The growth rings went in and out of the coloured centre. After lunch the Sitka arrived for the log bed, and we went to collect some monkey puzzle and some more small Elm. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
