  2. What with all those chunky bits of aluminium? Sounds perfect Andy.@RobD [emoji106]
  3. Went into local sawshop and saw an advert for a new Saw. It's got a magnesium piston and 66cc. Anyone tried it yet? [emoji106]
  4. Check your depth gauges. A 660 should fly through that.
  5. Depending on what you want cut. If you're in to making dimensional timber, a Logosol f2+ is worth looking at too. [emoji106]
  6. No. It's meant as advice. [emoji106]

  12. €38,000 per tree [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
  13. Complete crap!!!! Where do I start??? 1300 oak trees is not 52 acres of clearfell. Or €50,000,000 And yes France is fecking covered in massive oaks. I worked in a private 10-20,000 hectare forest which could provide 20+m beams. Just gets me. [emoji35][emoji35][emoji35]
  14. Well Chris Morris has gotten older and more serious. Pretty scary stuff. [emoji51][emoji51][emoji51]
  15. Nice setup mate [emoji106] Is that the f2 or f2+? Looks like sweet chestnut you're milling? Got any videos of using the log steps? [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  16. There's a lot of people, myself included who only use the app. Should I use safari in future? I do like the app even if it doesn't work properly. [emoji106]
  17. Chatting to a mate yesterday who does a bit of firewood. He told me he'd just visited a pub with two log burners. My mate looks at the builders bags of dripping fresh felled and split logs. "They are £5 a bag cheaper than you" pub man says. "But my logs are dry" mate says. "But it's cheaper" pub man. My mate gets back in his van and drives off. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] And he wonders why I only sell wholesale to one very clued up client. [emoji849]
  18. Just get a 661 with a 36" bar and stop wasting time. [emoji106]
  19. Get a cheap Chinese Alaskan or a proper panther mill, a few ripping chains and a good ladder. [emoji106]
  20. Wood gasifiers producing distillates of all heavy and light tars and diesel, petrol etc and enough hydro carbons left in the gas to power an engine. If you could liquefy it and put it in gas bottles. [emoji849]
