Depends on many factors, Is it hollow/cardboard? Useful trunk only appears about 10'. Doesn't look 4' diameter either. I'd measure it. If it's clean rot free, I'd pay £200-£300 And that's top money. [emoji106] -

That's a good price, I personally hate to chip anything which could be otherwise used. Especially milling logs. [emoji106]

Keep the tree as furniture! Get it milled by a local miller, Send it to a decent wood worker who could stack and dry it, then make you some beautiful bespoke furniture, designed for your home needs. Then replant a few more trees in more sensible places. Everyone's a winner. [emoji106]

Those are some good looking Saw logs. There's got to be a mill somewhere who would take them. Chip prices are £20-£40 a ton. Those logs are £100 a ton all day. (And it would be bloody near criminal to chip them!!!!) [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

Presumably a replacement for the 362. The acceleration is supposed to be a lot quicker with the new magnesium piston head. It's 66cc so should run a 20" bar with some grunt. [emoji106]

There's the 400,462 and 500i. Curiously there is only 200g difference between each Saw. [emoji106]

Crowns, bit like marmite. I love the character in them, but I understand the difficulty of trying to dry them, and keep them flat. For most uses I would cut the crown piece off for 3" thick coffee tables. [emoji106]

I sell big slabs to a guy near London who makes the most incredible resin tables. He showed me two small containers of un mixed resin. The shit stuff will cost £450 a time or the good stuff is over £800. [emoji51][emoji51][emoji51]

Now that is a valuable tree, 1m+dbh pear with pippy and burrs[emoji6] Probably hollow though. Best left to nature. [emoji106]

At 2.2m circumference it's about 60cm in diameter. It's got a lean, so it might warp and split. Young looking tree, probably mostly pale sap wood. And it looks to have no more than 2m of clean stem. It's not forest grown, so will have inclusions. A lorry with a crane and driver will cost more than the tree is worth. Probably. Until it's on the ground and you can see the interior it's a total gamble, might be rotten or hollow. I've seen 18" walnut trunks with a 4" heartwood. Worthless. More than 12" of heartwood? Yes £60-£100 max. If it was 1m+ in diameter, with burrs and pippy on a 7m+ trunk with 2" of sapwood, no rot or twists, delivered to my yard in Yorkshire, I'd pay about £500-£1000. That's the honest truth. [emoji106]

As mad and frustrating this situation is for you, I can understand stihl's stance. I.e. You ship a new Saw to a dealer. That's it. What happens after is down to the dealer. Might be an idea to have a sit down and chat with your dealer about how to move forward on this. Sympathies with your situation, but remaining calm and professional will get you further than growling (at this point). Let us know how it pans out. Good luck [emoji106]
