  1. Cheers Les. Very nice of you to say. Back on the 5.9m Norway today.
  2. Temporally fitted and extension to my mill on Thursday as I needed some longer lengths of Timber for my outbuilding. I’ve a bunch of Norway Spruce sitting in 5.9m lengths so I milled up some 10”x2” Joists. Very nice timber, clean and almost knot free. Perfect for a shed. [emoji16] Justme would get his panties in a bunch seeing me crawl home with this load. 🤣
  3. Just do what I do then. 🤣
  4. Maybe not todays milling, but will get milled very soon. 24’ and 23’ oak logs. Should be some nice pipping in at least one of them.
  5. Mind if I ask how much you made per slab?
  6. Well you’d not go wrong with getting the guy Stephen sold his business to. He does as good a job as Stephen.
  7. I used to send to Stephen as well. I now send them to the guy he sold that side of the business too and trained up on his old machines. First class service so far.
  8. There’s gas axes on Rigs, just in very controlled environments. Welding takes place all over and where needed. We sometimes Solder connections on the Drill Floor. Which is fun on critical connections on a string thats moving up and down a meter in relation to the rig. The strings not actually moving, the rig is. But it sure looks like the string is going up and down.
  9. That’s the thing. Even the Pusher, OIM or Company Man seems to need on-shore approval to leave the Procedure. Then the provider wants a Management of Change to absolve themselves. Safety as you say is off the scale these days. I guess not everyone can be as intelligent as someone who chops down trees for a living. 🤣
  10. Never seen that before. Looks handy. No one thought it would work so the Rig Mechanic tried everything he could then gave up. Not his problem.
  11. £1500, I’ll come asap
  12. When we're raping you guys on a daily basis its only fair we have a team building exercise to get a modicum of the felling you guys get hammered with on a daily basis. Clearly we dont want to feel the full girth of the fcking you have to put up with so a pinkie is kindsa sacrificial substitute.
  13. My father-in-law is 69. Unless his age is mentioned I completely forget it. We argue, laugh, mostly argue and maybe laugh later that day. He's the closest thing Ive ever had to a father, and writing this has made me realize that. Weird.. Anyway, I should suggest the pinkie thing to him if it ever comes up in the general convo.
  14. When I was on morphine I could not get it up. Butttttt a pinkie up the NRV soon solved that. Im no saying I would help with your advancing age, but what do you have to lose?
  15. Ive spent the last three days thinning out an area for a cabin on my wee plot. Ash, Syc, Beech and Cherry. 8 almost solid cubes here. Will put a cabin here next summer. This is what life means to me. The satisfaction and joy I get from the fruits of my labour. It’s ingrained into me through at least 2 generations of shipwrights and tree surgeons. Both which showed me the futility of considering an education in either. Unless being poor gives you a hard-on.
  16. Ok
  17. So true. I suggested it for near on 6 hours. That’s over $60,000 lost. As it was so non- intrusive why not try it first? Anyway, I had near on 6 hours off that day, then got called out at night to “help”. That’s £90 an hour which I would have been happily enough with but $30,000 I’d the least these twats could do. They still saved over $200,000! It paid for a whole new heating system for the house.
  18. I think I got (at the time ) $30,000 in performance related shares last year for remembering a trick from the school locker room where inverting a can of deodorant is ice cold. I managed to remove a snapped off “tap” in a ****************ed thread on a Subsea Hanger. Not only was it snapped off but it was well below the flush. I inverted a few cans of Air Duster and jetted the Tap with the gas. Believe it or not it soon shark enough to spin out by hand. I saved the company over $240,000. I was the lady gasp chance before cutting the lines and running the bank-up. That would be 24 hours down time. I thank Paul in the Woods for keeping me in the lifestyle I’m accustomed.
  19. My point is without cutting the head off the snake we’re never going to change a damn thing! Punishing and taxing the end user is so asinine it’s not worth discussing. Needless to say we’d be taxed twice and those that actually produce the pollution will slip through the intentionally gaping net. I sure as hell don’t plan on changing a damn thing. I don’t believe hook line and sinker this climate nonsense. If it where actually real then the governments would target the 100 companies that produce 70% of the worlds pollution and not the little people. I know I’ve mentioned this before but it’s repitition for emphasis. We’re not the problem, they are. But we allow them to make us feel we are. Wake up! I can assure you it won’t be my children that end up dying in the alter of the pseudo-science of climate change.
  20. I make my money providing product you depend on on a daily basis. I make as much as I do purely because you consume as much as you do. You dictate my wage and the shares I receive so thank you for allowing me to increase my yearly earnings by more than many here earn busting their balls. You’re welcome. And thank you. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  21. Climate change of my loved ones? Now there’s a subject, eh? Yet again I’ll reiterate that 100 companies around the world produce 70% of the worlds pollution. In light of this What is it you expect of my offspring and myself?
  22. I knew that was coming. Since we’re discussing this topic on a global scale surely it’s only fair to view reproduction and race on the same macro scale? When we consider this scale Caucasians are in fact a minority. Within the Caucasian make up Blonde Haired Blue Eyed people are a distant minority in what is already a minority group. Nobody wants to see unique minority groups disappear around the world, we all agree that ever effort should be employed to ensure these groups don’t disappear. Im personally doing my bit by having four beautiful blonde haired, blue eyed daughters to help maintain an already endangered minority group.
  23. How sound banning fireworks solve anything? They are used so sporadically that they pale into insignificance. Cancelling one of Jeff Bozos trans-Atlantic flights would wipe out a not so insignificant portion of the “pollution” fireworks cause. Why do we keep attacking the little people and not the major contributors to this mess?
  24. Thanks. Yeh, I can see why they prefer to have a one sided untraceable record. [emoji16]
