  1. In what way is Singapore unique in regards to C-19? I should have said that NZ has significantly more sheep than people. 10-1 as opposed to Scotland with almost 1-1. Scotland is also the sick man of Europe. We’re a nation of obesity and diabetes. We deep fry everything and think salad is a garnish. We’re the USA of Europe. As such we have an unusually high death rate due to C-19. The only thing that will end that is a vaccine that may never come or collectively we take responsibility for our own health.
  2. Do I still have to piss in the sink in Scotland? What about here in Norway where electricity was close to 50% cheaper over the winter due to excessive water? Will pissing in the Sink in Scotland save the children in Africa? Do you suggest more cleaning of the sink before the rest of the family use it? if so do you see a conflict of interest considering the increased cleaning products being flushed into our waterways and an obvious increase in plastic waste? Do you not have a 'small flush' function on your toilet at home or do you just like pissing in the sink? What does your wife have to say about all this?
  3. Im not sure what your point is but it seems to be that country's with high populations densities that are 'Police States' can abuse their population into controlling C-19 but countries that also have high population densities but importantly have a lot more civil liberties cant? And countries that have more Sheep than people can contain the spread of C-19. NZ has a population density of 18 per square km. Scotland has 70. Its little wonder NZ has had so few cases of C-19.
  4. Yes, I agree. There should be consistency. It does should like your having a moan about the Golfers and would like to see them fined as well, or shut down. Surely your frustration should be directed st the government instead?
  5. NZ's GDP is minute. GDP is 200B. The Uk's is 2.85T. Although interestingly enough the GDP per capita is virtually the same.
  6. You're annoyed at Golfers using the Village Golf Course they pay for because you cant take a stroll on the same Golf Course you may or may not be paying for? Surely they are well isolated from you and everyone else that does not play golf? So you can have free access to take a walk on the course? Yes, you should. And let the Golfers Golf in peace.
  7. An interesting number of reports on how smoking is helping prevent -19. https://www.euronews.com/2020/05/07/covid-19-and-smoking-what-does-the-who-say This must be one of the worst times to knock people who choose to smoke.
  8. Cool. I might head down the beach and harvest some myself. Im not squeamish just never thought they looked that appetising. What do they taste like? Did you catch all them yourself?
  9. Thats some mind boggling maths right there. 4067 x 3627 = 14.75 sq/m (m3) A Hearth thats 1000 x 1400 is literally 1.4m3, so as others have said thats a ball hair under 10% of your room floor space. But looking at your drawing, (if its at all accurate) you're including the actual fireplace as apart of the 1000mm Hearth length? Whats actually protruding into the room looks to be about 300-400mm? If so then bang on with Regs. And a whopping 4-6% of Floor Space.
  10. What misery are they facing in the EU? I thought it was the land of promise over there?
  11. I know. Can see myself retreating further and further back into the Highlands. Back to Braemar/Balmoral way would be nice.
  12. Its a bloody joke! Its criminal really. Thankfully most of them stay down in Englandshire.
  13. Ive never had Razor Clams. They look horrid and its always put me off Im sorry to say. Love most Sea Food though. Took the Wife to Tokyo for a long weekend and we basically lived in the Sushi restaurants. Visiting the Old Fish Market before it was closed down and replaced was fun. We had to get up at 01:00 to get in line to get a ticket to enter. Then down to the small Sushi Bars within the Fish Market area after. Was great.
