  1. This came from Flee bay ..its really well made and has been excellent to use . The visual may be helpful when looking through the listings.
  2. If you can get Parcel force to ship it ...Il clean it :big grin: Have to say though..it helps no end if the stuff i get is "Not Crusty " ! Man you would weep with some of the stuff that passes for "Fit for Purpose"
  3. You can get bits for them !!?? You going all vintage on us
  4. 9 months since it was used ..You can guess what the fuel was like ! Are the 3120's a bigger lump than the 84..88.880 then Spud ? never had one to play with .
  5. In for a service and a sharpen /bar dress...amazing condition once cleaned ! ..044 in from same chap and in same condition under the dust. Nice [/ATTACH]

Hi Andrew..ps 350 ...ps 35. 1 mag case and 1 clamshell ?? Odd hp output on web site ,puts the 350 lower than the 35 ..thats not the case i assume .
  8. Think you should send that to me for closer assessment ....!!
  9. Aint tin worm a wonderful thing Barrie:001_rolleyes:!! Are the JD decks made out of a reasonable thickness of steel. Neglect is not much help between maintenance I'm sure, but how about you Coast living lot and the salt in the air? any chance that is helping things in the wrong direction .
  10. I have a big soft spot for the 42 special and have 2 personally in different states of tune (they mod well)...this is one i built up for my girlfriend after she took here saw ticket and as a congrats gift for passing...
  11. Im not 100% sure but i think the 135 ( non E) side case will sub across. Think both saws have a commonality parts wise.
  12. £42.00 per hr...the rest Barrie collects on behalf of the revenue ..He has no choice . The investment in building rental, business rates , vehicles, tools , and a load ! of other running costs take a chunk of change from the £42.00. It takes a fair bit to run and offer the sort of service Garden kit and similar dealer /service outlets give . So maybe £42.00 per hr is pretty good when you consider the effectiveness and professional knowledge you get . In my Humble opinion
  13. Indeed !! But..You forgot the most important thing of all !! Coffee..thats No ..etc here
  14. £12.00 hr ...very cheep indeed!... delivery and collection as well !!, vehicle ,fuel, insurance ,time and so on. Cant comment on the OP"s expectation of income or overheads but would be interested how the Hourly rate was arrived at ? I certainly couldn't run at £12.00 a hr ..even if i got £12.00 a HR for ...EVERY HR .. whatever i was doing ,be it paperwork , research ,maintenance of workshops kit !! Our rates differ, as has been shown on the posted comments here for many reasons.
  15. I think we all appreciate a "Peeerty " Muff.
  16. If you don't mind me asking....How much did you take off the key to get the advance ? Have the same saw and the muffler is opened for better breathing so am interested in your findings.

    Husky 350

To the best of my knowledge the 351 has the same mag alloy cace as the 346 and has no bace mount. The cylinder bolts on as the pro grade saws...350 has the bace mount as its polymer case.
  18. I think something on the older bike side would be more my fancy now. As always, cash is the thing :001_rolleyes:
  19. Yours truly ...Teararse !! :big grin:...I was to chicken to be one of .."The Lads". Iv not owned a British Bike myself ... you need a £ or to for one these days ...how things change !
  20. I had a standard VFR on a F plate , red as well..but..lime green and pink air brushed wheels !! like it when it came to me..wonderful bits of kit. Last bike i had till i stopped riding was El Bandit ..air cooled old school.

The 351 isn't that common and i should think makes good sense with the Mag alloy case in a forest environment.

Thats how i see them as well..sure there not a 346xp ...but good in there own right.
  24. There is 1 saw that for me is like the VW Golf ...had them too :big grin: For me out of all the saws iv had or have it is all the saw I need...Husqvarna 254 xp The usual stuff about design ..age and vibe is not in my mind with this one , the same as there were always folks who said there were faster and better handling cars than a Golf.
