  1. If he's that concerned about the democratic nature of the EU, why ain't he had anything to say about his invisible friend in the sky.. I don't recall his best bud up there ever getting elected.. I mean, he'll bend the knee and supplant himself to an invisible king of the sky, yet bleats on no end about how undemocratic Europe is.. The mans a charlatan and a fraud if your asking me.... And you might want to tell him that one of your colleague's on arbtalk has asked you to tell him to stop using children's cheaper shoes to defend his argument against the the EU. We all know he cares as much about children's shoes as a rat cares about where its gonna take a shit..
  2. I used to put an add in the local paper, tree's topped and lopped.. no job to small.. They charged by the word so I kept it short as I could.. at the time I imagined topping was in regards to a conifer hedge being reduced... what surprised me was most people had about as much idea of arbor-culture terminology as I did..
  3. A full day......, I only need an hr.. There'll be grieving mothers, and newly widowed wives by the millions.. thieves liars killers cheats, the list goes on.. they all get it.. and they're all going away...
  4. Errrm.. Gearbox thingymigig on my honda has been playing up for a year or so, then the cable snapped.. New cable, mower in shed.. looked at problems of getting said cable back on got some tools to sort it out.. Angle grinder went to work and we both cut off the gear box mechanism.. Job done.. now the owner of a push mower thats lighter to heave into the back of the van.. not only that but the bonus is I can pull the mower backwards as well as push it forwards.. ?
  5. Just read a good piece in the Guardian.. apparently those two fella's passports have a single digit difference between em,.. Now why would two fella's visiting England from Russia end up with passports with a single digit ID number difference... https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/sep/13/skripals-russia-putin-salisbury-poisoning-suspects-interview
  6. reading the thread with interest as i've noticed over the last couple of years my left arm is giving me trouble.. only last month I think I've put my finger on the problem.. when i use my strimmer.. my left hand is getting vibes through the handle half way down the strimmer.. its got worse over the last couple of years, more noticeable these days.. thinking of a solution as i sit here, being prompted by reading the thread, perhaps some extra insulation on the handle.. wrap a bike tire round or similar. perhaps time to buy a battery strimmer..
  7. You can doubt what you like. Most of my customers love me going off on somethin or other.. Oh, there was this time a few years back when I was asked to do a garden for an Asian woman. When I got there I noticed a few pics of blue elephants on her wall, the sort of things one might see in a Hindu household.. So I went into my anti Muslim rant about suicide bombers and dumb muslims.. must of cracked on for a good half hr.. She was very quiet as I went through my well rehearsed anti Muslim routine.. I did the garden and was asked to do it again on a regular basis.. I thought I'd done a marvelous job of givin it to the muslims and I suspected the woman would be impressed by my vast knowledge on the subject.. The next time I went round I met her husband coming out the house, he looked rather smart in his dark brown suit, I asked him were was he going.. I go to Mosque, he said in his best broken English...
  8. I would too.. mind you, only so as I could go to a public meeting were Boris was speaking and be able to shout up to him that I'd just done his wife.. Top note when the rooms gone quiet. Hey Boris, I done your wife last night.. the poor woman could hardly walk this morning.. I gave her both barrels you fat cnt... yea, well you should't of fcked the country should you, you fat bastard... hahahha.
  9. Thank for your concern about my employment but you have no need to worry.. I'm as busy as I want to be.. four days a week is enough thank you.. and yes I do get stuck in when I'm there... My philosophy is, get it done, and move onto the next one.. though I do enjoy a good chin wag with my costumers.. and an occasional cup of tea or coffee...
  10. How does our plastic waste end up in the sea.... i can't figure it. but i do see the odd vid of beaches in third world countries, the filthy bastards.. no wonder theres plastic floating round the oceans.. I was ruminating on this the other month when the problem was in vogue in the news.. My solution, plastic for us and the rest of the civilized world. No plast for the shitholes as Trump would say...
  11. What, you mean like Putin who's had journalist murdered and even had a hand in bombing a block of Moscow flats to get himself elected some years back.. did I mention his military intervention in Crimea and Ukraine, not to mention his attack on Georgia.. The mans a menace.. he needs sorting out..
  12. Good vid on climate change.. everything you need to know in twenty minutes..
  13. can you explain why someone would attempt to kill an ex Russian agent with Novichok instead of an iron bar.. Its to send a signal to other Russian agents who might want to betray their country.. That they will come for you and get you come what may... The Russians for all we know might of bumped off dozens of people around the world in much the same way. only we're the ones willing to make it public.. It might just be Putin willing to troll us and not america because he believes its safer to do so.. its why I said we aught threaten nuclear war at one stage, not exactly to do it, but to let the news filter through the Russian population and let their voters know what sort of leader they have.. a dangerous megalomaniac in the making..
  14. It follows a pattern of Putin trolling Britain, first they use Polonium then Novichok.. Putins hands are all over it..
  15. Funny, I used to sub to a magazine when I was sixteen or so.. I think it was called the unexplained. full of stuff like that, I lapped it all up and for the most part believed a lot of it.. human spontaneous combustion was a good one with some good pics... over time I read a lot of articles debunking it all. The only thing I've held onto is ghosts.. seen one or two in my time.. I'm up in the air whether I believe them to be real or the work of an over active imagination.. the one thing that makes me wonder, is why more than one person see the same thing.. three of my friends saw a white lady from the 19th century, walking stick and shawl when they drove by the local church one time late at night.. all of them shit themselves and wouldn't go down the road at night for a long time after.. bit of a puzzler that one.. as a seven year old child I saw one walk off a wall and thence through a wooden door.. I swear it was real and have never forgotten it to this day.. but that could be delusion.. I don't think it was though.. As to any of the current in vogue topics of conspiracy theories, no, none of em have been proved right.. bunch of loons the people who believe in em.. mostly believed by drug takers I think.. or idiots of the lowest order..
  16. I make time.. If I'm not working I'm sat at the front of the PC, just of late I've been doing other things but its getting dark earlier and colder.. back to spending more time on here.. It helps if you live on your own as well, couldn't have a wife bleating about spending time on the PC..
  17. How do I know if a conspiracy theory has been proved true.. perhaps you might google it.. As to climate change, this summer was an eye opener for me. I never thought about the jet stream being affected until I ruminated on the ice sheets melting.. dawned on me if the ice melts, the jets stream was gonna migrate further north to catch up with what was left.. this is a serious issue that I hadn't thought on before.. now that I know that, its time to worry about it.. a few dry summers, followed by a couple of dry winters and we're gonna be in the shit in that regards..
  18. Most all of my research is done on there these days.. can't see the point of reading books an such when information is easier to digest through visual aids.. i usually look at topics of interests and search them out between less serious stuff on there, you know some light relief to get away from the heavier subjects.. from cats to climate change in ten minutes or the other day watching a slew of vids on the american war in the pacific.. then an hr or so on climate change and water shortages due to said changing weather patterns.. I watched an interesting one the other day about Custers famous last stand, turns out there wasn't a last stand at all, the truth was the soldiers were pinned down and bunched up and then slaughtered by the Indians.. the archaeology of the site showed very few bullets fired by the americans were they died.. suggesting they were butchered on the spot as prisoners..
  19. take off the spark plug and hang it upside down to drain any remaining water over a few days.. keep it in a warm dry place as well.. I can't see why it wouldn't work again if its all dry and you've changed the fluids...
  20. Well I don't expect anyone to agree I expect people to argue against it.. but. you'll be on shaky ground as the only thing i'm not sure about is the timing.. The rest is as near as damn it coming if we like it or not..
  21. more like they don't to bother lest they want a damn good trouncing on here... anyway, not so much a conspiracy or it sort of is, but I do have my own conspiracy of sorts.. and thats that we're heading for catastrophe in a few years and the elite don't want to bring it up on account of how grave the danger is.. My theory or pet theory, is two events will collide in the not to distant future that will bring civilization down.. when peak oil collides with climate change.,. I've done a lot of research on the subject and the danger is real.. In fact I couldn't even begin to exaggerate the dangers that lie ahead, paint any worse case scenario and its worse than that.. In fact the only thing to forestall this coming calamity is the invention of a new form of energy.. and it ain't looking good in that department.. ten twenty thirty years at most and I say its all downhill....
  22. No, they know better.......
  23. They may be compelling but only if you haven't looked at the facts.. or ignore them.. 9/11 that is.. The friend I'm on about bleated about building 7 and how it fell down out the blue without reason.. took me ten minutes to find footage of said building with massive hole in front of it, thus undermining its integrity.. a few days later he was back to arguing the toss that it was a set up... dumber than a rock..
  24. I did a garden over the last few years the fella believes in a flat earth, after arguing the toss for an hr I gave up.. pointless arguing with someone who's as dumb as that.. or on medication of some sorts.. In fact he believes in every conspiracy out there as far as I know. contrails, 9/11 the lot.. my friend who's pretty bright swears blind 9/11 is an inside job.. the mind boggles at times..
  25. I wouldn't be seen dead wearing a ring or other jewelry for that matter.. should be worn by women and no one else..... men even moisturize these days, they'll be turning up in frocks next.
