  1. I used to play with tonka truck toys when i was a nipper. That toyota looks the muts nuts, tbf it looks a bit american in yellow id prefer all black or metallic grey. Truck porn..
  2. Was the tree snagged up on another tree?
  3. Lookin at that 2nd picture the tree looks almost horizontal so perhaps a spear cut right through would be a better option than a face cut etc
  4. On skinny heavy leaners id have used the 2 face cuts at either side
  5. Extra for game of thrones then...the mountains big brother
  6. Looks like the bar got pinched as your cut back towards the dog tooth. What cc was your saw?
  7. Ok then no supper for both of you and off to bed..
  8. Your calling him childish then your doing the exact same thing by goading him. And having a mental illness isnt funny and shouldnt be used as a tool to antagonise someone into another arguement. You've both had your say can we all move on please.
  9. I salute you sir for climbing with that sword... Id end up chucking it too f@#k pronto Im a minimal kit while climbing sort of guy plus im addicted to my 150
  10. Thats so wierd...!! I used one the other day, didnt climb with it(thank f#@k) its like a bleedin sword. Its just a big zubat with a hilt-which is a good idea for hand sawing in the wet. Feels well balanced in the hand, not too heavy but id struggle to justify using it over a zubat(my go to silky)as its just to big and bulky. For ground use id say yeah get one but id never climb with that monster on my harness.
  11. If you mean quality of work then yeah id agree mick. I also think the industry and those you work with will enevitably have an effect on your outlook long term.
  12. Have you conscidered the viking mowers, ive used em and ive yet to be let down, really robust and a pleasure to use
  13. Nowt wrong with cutting grass for a living... My opinion is no one should be judged by the job they do.. Unless your a drug dealer Then you are an @rseh○le
  14. Mick what happened to the tractor picture..? You appear to have reverted back to being simian again
  15. Double figure 8 is my go to knot when ive had to cut the spliced eye off my rope to pass its loler. Good one to use is the anchor hitch..
  16. Get the lightest saw possible, but power around the 60cc mark. Ergonomics is important,if you use a heavy saw all day it gets tedious very quickly. You dont need a big lug of a saw or guidebar to knock over big trees if thats what your doin.
  17. Sounds like seperation anxiety to me..ie he gets nervous when you-his bestest pal-is not around.Remember he is still very young and he should grow out of it as he gets older and more confident. When it comes too peeing indoors, timing here is crucial. When you see him about to pee(usual behaviour is circling and sniffing the ground)clap your hands or make a high voice sound-i say pee pee..pee pee then take him outside. He should then start to assosiate peeing with being taken outside pretty quickly. Keep an eye on him and praise him loads when he does pee outside. Be patient it will happen if your pro active in training the little fella. Good luck mate
  18. Ive had 3 male dogs, 2 were neutered 1 wasnt. They were all pretty even tempered but the uneutered liked to mount other males and showed no interest in females... Maybe he was gay...
  19. Had a pretty sizeable limb come off a beech in one of our parks a couple of weeks back. It had some black residue above the union. Was this a factor in the failing? Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  20. U seem to know alot about this... Whats your weekend name? Ive got a score on daniella..
  21. I know what you mean but we just call em slash cuts.. I never used em on the deck when felling
  22. Im just amazed your still tryin too take care of your nails in this industry.. Ive no constructive input.. All the jokes have been done..
