  1. I think tcd's still posting but under a new name... Anyone guess??
  2. Theres an entire thread on the 2511 and its predecessor the 2510.Having never run one myself i really dont know but from what ive heard and read theyre great little saws. Think the threads called little echo..? Give it a search and read through it mate. Its pretty thorough so it will answer all your questions im sure
  3. Bump...incase anyone missed this
  4. I should add i run a 12 " bar on mine and it just encourages you to bury it into wood that you shouldnt. Perhaps if you advanced the timing aswell it might cope better.Remember its a small guide bar and using for takedowns will cause the chain too jam with the crud in it. Mines does this...its the only issue i have with it...my own fault so i cant bitch
  5. Yes but 12" max cause its pushin it.If you want a small ripper get an echo 2511
  6. Teufelburger have also issued a safety warning on some of there rope slaices.. https://www.facebook.com/groups/269475046595740/permalink/675325669344007/ Can be found at gustharts website for those who dont have facebook
  7. Great advice matty.I think your bang on there. It is after all a pruning saw but once its moded its difficult to go back to the 201's on the harness. The 150 is so light it doesnt even pull my treemotion down. Only fault i have with it is sometimes the chain jams up,probably due to the excess crud in the narrow bar, apart from that a great little saw.

  9. Better to take out the exhaust and use a dremmel to remove the spark screen and widen it.You can get a timing advance aswell to really pep it up. Theres a guy who modifies saws on here called spud. I recommend you speak to him about it as he really is the expert on this.Send him a private message. In the meantime all.i could find was this american guy doin his 150...
  10. Lung age of 59... Not bad for a guy who's 63..
  11. https://www.facebook.com/groups/269475046595740/permalink/674063266136914/?sale_post_id=674063266136914 Greenmech chipper for sale
  12. Being a whingin leftie myself eggs i can sympathise
  13. Just seen this....hmmm,i dont think we'll ever be bff's but id talk about trees over a pint with ya...your round though, after all i am scottish and i know you like a stereotype
  14. Post it notes are my saviour...theyre everywhere...wife hates em..
  15. How conveinent for you that after my post quoting figures you suddenly come out with a figure just above the MP salary i quoted....hmmm i smell porkie pies to save face... That aside,im sure you will conceed that your teacher friend is in the minority and his salary is not a reflection of the average assistant head throughout the educational system. You seem to have forgot that some MPs will earn more than that 74 grand quoted as that is just an average..oh and expenses which can run into the tens of thousands...
  16. The average wage of an assistant head teacher in england is 42,500. The average wage of an MP in england is 74 000 plus expenses..your arguement has just fell on its arse
  17. Ok...em...i totally agree..i didnt see that coming. I have too add though there are many ways to save money and many more deserving that extra money than our alreadly well paid MP's
  18. Your logic hinges on every pensioner being a scrounger which just isnt the case. How many pensioners are well off? Do you have any idea or any statistics? In reality the number is probably quite low in comparison to the 1 billion your stupidly banding around
  19. If were talkin about saving money looking at pensioners is barking up the wrong tree imo. What about our MP's who think its completley acceptable to vote themselves another pay rise every 5 minutes who's policing those buffoons. Im really gettin to the point where im thinkin guy fawkes had the right idea. Theres a quote in a famous movie that is very apt here "Nest of scheming b@st#rds that couldnt agree on the colour of sh!te"
  20. How u doin mate, hope alls well in sunny portugal. I use a petzl croll chest ascender with a footloop. You could use any type of ascender but i personally avoid any with sharp teeth like the kong duck, might have a detremental effect on your rope long term
  21. Ive proved its possible so it could happen again. Anyway we seem to be goin round and round here and clearly will never agree so happy debating to you and enjoy your saturday night.
  22. There have been several instances of poliical parties being elected in receiving less than the opposition because of the 1st past the post system. The most recent was 1951 when the tories lead by Winston Churchill were elected ahead of the labour party under clement attlee when the number of votes cast favoured labour by 230 000.
  23. You do realise Theresa May was an unelected prime minister before the recent election dont you.. So it is again possible that a prime minister is running our nation without being elected. It is also possible with our antiquated system that a prime minister is elected that did not receive the largest share of the vote. Do you think the above scenarios are a true depiction of democracy??
  24. The point of changing things is its a better democratic system in electing a prime minister because we would be voting for a prime minister and local representative seperatly.
