  1. Ruth Davidson has attracted a lot of flak of late thanks to her bosses in england, she does however have the unionist vote as thats all the tories in Scotland have been banging on about. She didnt do well in the leaders debate because of the tories rape clause, dementia tax and no guarentee on triple lock pensions. Although i see tories gaining a couple of seats from labour up here
  2. If 20% of the on the fence voters went for lib dems they would be in the running, depending on a low turn out as many are predicting. Tories won last time with 23% of the vote... And we think we live in a democracy
  3. Figures are not correct, figures have been manipulated to make them appear positive for the tories. Bury your head and have a pop at Corbyn if thats what you think but the tories are blatantly lying to further there cause. Ive said before im no labour fan but i really detest the tories.
  4. I posted that to show how the tories were manipulating there numbers(not that we werent aware of this anyway). Its nothing to do with promoting labour. Funny how when something is posted to show how the tories are lying there arses off someone immediatly jumps to point out how bad labour are too,not that i entirley disagree,im far from a fan of Corbyn and abbot, just find it odd that some would rather attack opposition than sit up and take notice of how bad there own party is. Just an observation not having a go at anyones political preferences. Hope everyone gets out to vote tomorrow Im out
  5. Thats your opinion...not mine Anyone see Mrs May getting creamed by John Snow... She really is terrible at interviews..i almost felt sorry for her..
  6. http://markcurtis.info/2017/06/07/a-london-attacker-and-uk-covert-operations-in-syria-and-libya/#_ftn1 Dunno about this, interesting though. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app

  8. For the miners perhaps, but what she did to scottish industry and the industries in the north of england there are no exscuses. I lived through it,i saw it,my sister and i lived on crispy pancakes and wore 2nd hand clothes to school for years. When i left school i had 2 choices- a YTS scheme with a pay of 28 quid a week for working 60 hrs a week as a trainee chef or join the forces...no choice really. Dont tell me what i lived through mate We witnessed it first hand
  9. Wait till you've read matelots opinions....
  10. Minimal injuries but i bet his wet suit was a bit heavier when he took it off 😆 Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  11. Maggie thatcher destroyed most of the industries in scotland, mining, steel works and ship building and sent the work abroad.I remember the day my father came home unemployed because maggie liked shafting the scots. We got lumbered with the poll tax a year before anyone else in the Uk...why? She liked shafting Scotland as we continually voted Labour and stuck by our unions. Im glad that old c### is dead.
  12. Difficult to diagnose a possible fault with a single word explaining a random noise. Zoooooms not a lot to go on
  13. You cant use that old saw for carving mate. You need a lighter saw with a carving bar and chain. I ll say this one more time for my own peace of mind. Go on a course, get a little saw like a stihl ms 180/181, those saws are light but pwerful for there size and will do small fells, limbing, crosscutting and carving work. By all means keep your old saw but as a project. Good luck Dont do anything silly
  14. Rotten dusty turd of a job. Looks nae fun at all lad..

  21. Hi mate firstly well done for being pro active about gettin yourself qualifications alot of guys expect employers to pay for training so good on you for doing it yourself. You'll need boots for your climbing course, wellies wont do it in afraid.Cs38 is just climbing trees so no chainsaw protective gear is needed.Cs39 is the use of a chainsaw while in a tree so you will need chainsaw protective boots for that one. Also you need type c trousers that give all round protection and a climbing helmet that has a chin strap so your forestry helmet wont do. The harness has to be fit for purpose and loler inspected before you could use it on the course, same with the carabiner and belay. I have a feeling your gear is rock climbing and i doubt your instructor will let you use them. You may be able to hire a full climbing kit off the training providers. I have some kit i could give you if your willing to pay the postage-type c trousers size medium and some other bits and bobs.let me know if your interested mate. Welcome to the forum
  22. First of all we all know a relative, little old lady etc who has had a bad experience with the nhs,the majority receive great service at no cost. If someone decides to go private thats up to them and the cost would not be comparative to a private health care system in the future when the tories destroy the nhs It will be much more expensive in the future than private health care today. As for the nhs in scotland yes the SNP have prioritised the nhs and as a result is performing well. I really dont understand anyone who thinks private healthcare in place of the nhs is a good thing.
  23. GP's dont provide care for cancer sufferers,or perform operations,or look after our sick people in hospital. To say its nhs scaremongering is extremely niave. Could you afford 35 grand for a hip replacement when your 70..
  24. Sruc oatridge is quite near you check that out. If you decide to get your cs 30 you can get an independant learning award to the tune of 200 quid to put towards your course fees.Chris simpson at informed trees is based in hamilton but the courses are run in cumbernauld. Treevolution ate based nearer edinburgh at midhope estate. Both are good training providers. HW training are in dumfries if thats an option
