  1. Yeah obviously windblow is a diffrent kettle of fish... I would hope a senseable guy with loads of common sense wouldnt attempt that sort of situation.
  2. I dont pretend to know how a Labour government propose to finance the NHS but im sure id rather have the NHS and to vote tory would condem our nation of an institution that takes care of our sick and elderly free of charge. If Theresa May gets her way we had better all pray were financially bouyant enough to afford to get sick.
  3. Scottish then mate happy days.welcome to the forum, maybe you could conscider just doing your cs 30 which is just chainsaw maintenance and crosscutting, about 350 quid.It covers all aspects of what you would need.
  4. Get a modern saw, thats got an accident written all over it. A newbie using a chainsaw with no chainbreak is a reciepe for a trip to A&E. Modern saws have more safety features,if you were an experienced handler id say fair dos but ive got the fear
  5. Had a heart attack Mr Johnson ? Oh thats unfortunate..do you have health insurance? Oh i see...well your not insured to cover cardiac events... Ummm..how would you like to pay? Oh its £ 130 000,you can sell your house to cover it you know. A reality check of our lives in a Tory nhs free health care system.
  6. Just like the torys then... I really dont rate Corbyn but i despise Theresa May and her billionaire serving cohorts.
  7. Chuckin it down in glasgow. Were used too it..
  8. What would qualify as prime minister naterial in your opinion? A lying, repititive sound biting u turning cant produce any financial figures, elderly dementia sufferer robbing, nhs destroying women like may. Really??? Take away corbyn and thats what were left with
  9. Great post Sadly i fear it will fall on deaf ears as the torys continue with the personal attacks on Corbyn deflecting the focus away from theyre own lack of plausable policies.
  10. If the latest polls are accurate then tory and labour are neck and neck at labour 1% behind the torys. Mays losing credability as Corbyns bandwagon is gaining momentum. I really think if Labour had a more appealing leader they would have romped it.
  11. Watching both Mrs May and Mr Corbyn of late im glad im scottish and i have a 3rd option for my vote. Both are abysmal. What are folks thoughts on lib dems-obviously not a contender but what about there policies.
  12. Yip perhaps you should have looked into that sooner. Anyway its good to make a wee saving. I buy my own handsets and just keep the same sim card, works for me and 3 have always been really good.
  13. Matelots been strangley quiet on this thread since steve reopened it.
  14. To renew trident, renew the subs to carry them and maintain the weapons and subs throughout there lifetime till 2060 is 205 billion. An approximate figure as we dont yet know what the yanks will charge us for the out of date system theyre giving us the pleasure off buying of them
  15. Im not convinced a nuclear deterrent is going to prevent a rogue nutter like kim jong from launching his own nuclear weapons.Lets be honest here,as soon as one country launches it will only take minutes for another to launch a retalitory strike-in that case were all goners. Anyway that aside i did say only take a portion of the cash to renew trident and improve our military and police force.
  16. You cant compare an army as a deterrent with a nuclear weapon, its a completly different scale of deterrent. Armies dont kills millions indiscriminatly with 1 push of a button. I think in the light of recent events it proves-to me anyway-we have little need for a nuclear deterrent to stop the threats we currently face. If we could put even a quarter of the money from renewing trident into our armed forces and police where its needed i think we would be on the right path to dealing with these terrorists
  17. I cant put my finger on it...but i feel like.... Im being watched....
  18. Arbtalk has been pretty poor lately, not many threads holding my interest apart from matty f posting some rigging stuff. Mods are over censoring in my opinion,we all know the rules, were all adults yeah some halfwits will get through but warn them or ban them dont close a thread down that gets alot of traffic.
  19. I made my own similar setup on ddrt.great!
  20. Bit strong mate, your entitled to your opinion but dont make mistake of generalising. Some x forces guys are instilatutionalised and find it difficult to reintergrate back into society. I served in overseas operations in the gulf,i saw it as a job and so did many of those around me. Im proud of what i did as are my family. Im no pawn,i didnt fight for any political reason,i did what i was paid to do. I fought for my mates who stood beside me and they fought for me, as did the Iraqies who fought for what they thought was right. Its difficult looking back on it now knowing what we know to justify that war but im proud of our professionalism in what was a very challenging situation. Perhaps if your understood that you wouldnt form such an extreme opinion without experiencing such strong bonds and comradery yourself.
  21. 48 hospitilised and 6 dead in another terrorist attack on london bridge and borough market lastnight. 3 perpetrators shot dead by police. Wtf is going on Deepest sympathies to the families of those poor people
  22. Care too explain how a tory being investigated for fraud and the party trying to abolish the very institution thats responsible for investigating that fraud is a tarnish on all parties kev. Ps i dont vote labour..i dont rate corbyn as a legitimate pm.
