  1. Maybe a faulty clutch spring or the clutch drum is sticking. Could also be an airleak somewhere.Take it back and get a technician to have a look
  2. You'd be surprised mate.I got a decent one from ebay and a friend got one (On my recommendation) from gumtree which was a good saw aswell. Any 2nd hand purchase is a bit of a gamble but if you do a bit of snooping around the sellars social media and ebay feedback etc you can get an idea if its a lemon or not. 346xp's are still available to buy new in france, infact ive seen a link posted on these pages a couple of times. Crackin saws
  3. Get a 346xp and send it too spud for porting...thing of beauty! Excells on a 15" bar and can also pull an 18" with a semi chisel chain.
  4. Id happily let him kev, theres not a hedge in the land id haggle a price on. Heres my quote, dont like it get a cheaper person in no hard feelings. Anyway he'd learn the hard way again about under quoting jobs and making minimal if any profit...
  5. Being a hard hearted bastard id have watched him struggle until he was at the point of real catastrophe/danger then give him both barrells for being an absolute knob! If it was a 20 year old just out of college, then id be more sympathetic as young uns are generally over confident and full of bravado but at his age he should know better.
  6. Ive used a 3 teir telescopic extention pole(the ones for painting ceilings) with a bent hook to get ropes in limes really thick with epi. Just another tool in the box...
  7. Did you read what i said? I'll quote myself and write in bold so you cant miss it again "AND OF COURSE THE BBC ARE A JOKE" i agree with you on that matelot and some other points,i will also agree that immigration impacts a lot of other issues but not too the degree that you and tommy would have us believe. I differ in opinion too you,we know this, weve locked antlers before,im not doing it again. Do yourself a favour reread the post your quoting before you answer or give a counter arguement. I do believe you make some good points and i agree with you sometimes but as had been said by others on here you do yourself no favours by retorting so quickly without thinking.
  8. Ahhh the power of editing. The fact that he cant even say rhetoric says alot about the guy. Im not totally rubbishing the guy i genuinly think he believes in what he's sayin, the march was peaceful and of course the BBC are a joke but i didnt see enough people being interviewed to give a general census of the attitude of that crowd. Looked like a couple of people were interviewed just because of the colour of there skin to try and promote a non racist theme when 99% of the faces there were white working class. I dont disagree with some of what tommy has too say but there are a whole host of serious issues in our country and id like to hear more from him on those, as right now he seems to be a one trick pony bangin his drum to the beat of immigration.
  9. Yip been there... heavier throwbag helps if its a tree with high friction bark or heavily fissured. Sometimes it just gets stuck though.. What can you do..
  10. I stay just a short distance from loch lomond and ive seen this first hand. Absolute disgrace to do this in the national park at such a scenic area. Just dont understand why these halfwits done this, all the woods been left onsite and the cuts would say its non trained people who have perpetrated this blatant vandalism.
  11. I think he's refering too the Thatcher era politicians, judges and bankers paedophile rings.
  12. 20 rep squats are bloody awful! But strangley satisfying...
  13. Watched that earlier on on youtube. Had to search like a bastard to find out what the song was... Lana del rey-ride (barretso remix) Great vid bud Keep em coming
  14. If its for odd jobs on the ground stihl ms 180 is a great wee saw.
  15. Putting sordin eardefenders on it helps but theyre still not as good a fit as they should be. As said good lid
  16. Im happy that your happy joe I use a silky less now with my fuckd elbows Does that make you happy aswell
  17. Ever try a leg mount Joe? I got a Notch Talon fot my Zubat and i have it mounted on my right leg. The handel of the Zubat sits below my right knee. It's always there but out of the way if you know what i mean. Goes on over spikes as well, perfect! I tried the sawpod but didnt really get on with it...
  18. I find the more i train(normally 3-4 days a week)the less sore i am and have very little doms. The less i do or if i miss the gym for a couple of weeks the sorer i get. Strange thing...
  19. I fancy giving the samurai a go to see how good it is.Like you say at £30 its hardly rocket money so worth a punt
  20. Oh i can afford a silky mark but i refuse to pay nearly 60 quid for another zubat when the alternative is half the price. Truthfully i dont expect the samurai to be as good as a silky but if its nearly as good then its cost effective.
  21. Stihl 038av. May she rest in peace
  22. Packed a bird in donkeys years ago for the same reason mate...she wasnt called ruth though...
  23. So after losing my zubat ive decided im not payin the stupid prices for another one.Ive tried the gomataro, which was a pita as it didnt like its shealth so quickly got chucked to fu#k. Lookin at this samurai c330 Anyone used one? Opinions will be graciously received. Many thanks folks https://www.buxtons.net/samurai-c-330-saw.html
  24. Rotatech chains are utter sh#te Got 2 with a saw i bought lately and 1 went after 2 hours work. Lasted longer than i thought actually... Heard they go ping quick if your bore in with em
