  1. All that effort building a superb machine and an absolute joke of a vid. You should have got a 12 year old to film and edit that. Could not have done a worse job.
  2. Ok, fair enough. 👍
  3. Why did you delete it?
  4. Initial thoughts, is it running fast enough?
  5. Sunday morning blood letting..
  6. I remember when being a climber used to be one of the options when you were too stupid or wild to learn a proper trade like building, car mechanics or engineering. Now it’s becoming a lifestyle choice. Nothing wrong with that of course, good luck to the OP whatever his decision.
  7. Lots of this… (courtesy of Dave)
  8. S’funny you say that. I had planned on some fancy rigging to save on clear up. But once up there and having got a feel for the tree I decided rigging off that was idiotic to save a bit of raking so we bombed out 95%
  9. Oh yeah!
  10. Stone dead horse chestnut threatening some property. Real breadstick stuff. left as a monolith cos it was a lot cheaper.
  11. Might as well just chuck the leaves on the ground.
  12. Some pops I marmalised by a half a year ago and today. Now I know when I first posted the ‘after’ shot (the totem poles shot) some eyebrows were raised. But here we are, a year later, client has his screen back, they won’t fall on the power lines or the road, everyone is happy. Worse case scenario they rot out in a few years and have to be taken out. So what? They’re pops, they would start falling over or breaking to to bits in that time frame anyway.
  13. ‘Maidens’ I believe is the usual term.
  14. They’d cover them in sausage skin to create testicles, then change gender.
  15. I’ll let you know, chase me up if you don’t hear from me!
  16. Yes, I suppose so. Like I said, we’ll see what the quote comes out at. I was thinking around 4K. There or thereabouts is ok. I might have to rethink if Marks ballpark figure is correct.
  17. We’ll see, I haven’t had the quote yet.
  18. Was at a professional body fabricators today. If I can afford it I’ll get a proper aluminium box done. Can’t nail a homemade plywood monstrosity on this baby!
  19. Oh yeah, I’m all about capacity.
  20. Mwb ? 3.2 mètres by 2 meter bed.
  21. 33k without vat.
  22. I ordered this a good while back, but cos of staff problems and a downturn in work I had a wobble and cancelled it. Things change so I spoke to the salesman who said they still had it so I signed on the dotted line.
  23. Cherries are pavement lifters. If it’s only 6ft tall don’t worry about it, it’ll be decades before it becomes an issue.
  24. Big issue is if the steel is tempered or not. Otherwise you’ll bend mild steel like cheese.
  25. Thanks David, I am weighing up whether to eschew a reduction and offer only a removal bearing in mind it’s location. i’ll research its characteristics after I confirmed what it is. ill go back tomorrow.
