  1. Well done on getting the job done. A majestic bodge! What caused a hole in the sump like that?
  2. Ok Pete, you deserve the ol' clappy hands emoji
  3. Tows great, mpg.....no idea. Don't worry about it, it's probably the same as the others. The best thing you can do to improve mpg is put a hard top on it, you're just pulling a parachute around otherwise.
  4. Good work guys. Pollarded a larch?
  5. What are you getting ATM?
  6. I hate sand, I'm always worryingly about it going through the chipper.
  7. Thing is, the way you paint the picture, you as a hardworking environmentally conscious local, versus moaning incoming townie leaves little doubt who we should be rooting for. It's all irrelevant really unless you just want a little feel-good agreement from on here. It is an annoying noise. Are you all legal? If so, nothing that worry about. If he can put in a complaint about noise that might stick, then maybe you could show willing, erect some kind of sound absorbing fence, only mill in working hours etc.
  8. Makes more sense than golf, tennis and football. Jousting GOT style...[ame] [/ame]
  9. Go to the yellow boxes at the top of the page. Click on FORUM. A list will come up of the subforums, chainsaws, landscaping etc. Select one and you will see a yellow box saying NEW THREAD. Click that and away you go. Now if you don't mind me and Sam are charging off our nuts and are unstoppable out there.
  10. [ame]https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jIgAQDaUW2I[/ame] Rave on Big Sam..... That's what I want from my England manager! Suit, tie, drop a sneaky one and away you go!
  11. Ha ha! Maybe he'll drop Rooney as well. More about the 2006 interview Sam Allardyce: Ten years, four clubs and a failed PowerPoint presentation have led to Big Sam getting the England job | International | Sport | The Independent
  12. Really? I understand he was interviewed for the job at the same time as Mclaren in 2006 and was miffed he lost out.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3687159/Sam-Allardyce-emerges-frontrunner-England-job-Sunderland-manager-meets-FA-chiefs.html
  13. If the Euros showed us anything it's that there was no decent teams out there. It was just belief that got Portugal through. It could as easily been us, but as soon as we went behind to Iceland you could see them collapse mentally. Rabbits in the headlights. That's the first thing he has to address, what's going on between their ears.
  14. Looks like ash regrowth from a stump.
  15. Experienced, competent, good record with fragile psyches (Sunderland) Can handle the press no bother Really wants the job. Is English I've always admired his focus. Good luck Big Sam!
  16. Mark's right. You won, Congratulations. Give him a little wave as you leave.
  17. I think I used Evo Stick in a tescos bag around the back of the school bike sheds. Worked pretty good if I recall.
  18. If your chipping dead/dying thuja or conny it can block in a matter of hours. It's what hand held blowers are good at. Maybe cover half the rad with a bit of cardboard (on the landy) I used to do that to heat the engine up so it would get through the emissions test.
  19. Too much sauce in the summer evenings can ruin the next day for sure. Two or three pints in the pub after work, then crack open the wine after dinner. Then back in the pub again after work because you're feeling a bit rough. Rinse and repeat.
