  1. I was thinking of the cobbles, pretty unforgiving on the teeth.
  2. Anyway, lovely truck Simon, congratulations!
  3. Good point, hadn't considered that. I usually take the chipper on the back of the pick up with the saws etc. I saw a 7.5 tonner with the toolboxes fabricated underneath/on the sides, looked good.
  4. I be interested to find out how much that would weigh. Put 5 cube in a tranny and it's full up maybe 1.5 tonnes, i.e. Well over weight. 8 cube is maybe 2.5 tonnes give or take, meaning you could get another tonne of chip/wood on. Willing to be proven wrong though.
  5. Very nice, I'd never sacrifice capacity for a tool box again though.
  6. Here's Saxon Way and conservatories and trees. I just don't see what the fuss is all about. Take one out plant another.
  7. Ukip are finished, a one issue party whose work is done. Consigned to history, hopefully. See post #225 for my opinion on the current Labour Party.
  8. I don't know about a sly chuckle, a robust opposition is needed more than ever. It looks a long way off at the moment, that's not good.
  9. Active graveyard. Don't want any zombies being killed, oh, hang on....
  10. One thing about here is all trailers over 500kg have to have their own log book, number plate and insurance. So if you steal a chipper it's effectivly worthless except for scrap as no one would buy an "unregistered" trailer/chipper/cement mixer. Well, some would, but for example the British assembled GM 220 I sold over here was bought by someone who took it off the axels and put it on a trailer. (All legal mind, I explained it was made in the uk and not homologated for France) Would cut down on trailer/chipper thefts if the thief knew you couldn't just sell it at near market value and the buyer just slap some plates on.
  11. Yes fair enough. Actually I just had a good look at that PDF, really handy that.
  12. Thanks for the follow up Gary.
  13. :001_smile:Well it's not bad, I'll give you that! The other thing about those stumps is that there's no root chasing and they're always shallow.
  14. Come on Dean! Decades old oak, easiest grinding there is, literally falls apart. Even hydraulic will look good on that. Show us the same machine on a fresh wet poplar/spruce stump.
  15. Do you have a name for her yet?
  16. [ame] [/ame] James Bond seemingly never got the memo about feminism.
  17. Lovely looking dog, good luck with her.
  18. Agreed, just for the patio in the spring/winter, and the grinder occasionally. I do the vans at the carwash.
  19. I bought a brand new Karcher k4, €200, seems ok, 3 year warranty.
  20. Good points, did not know that.
