    The older you get the harder it is to learn a new language. It is great that she’ll be able to understand Pobyl y com on the tv and understand the road signs, but it’s a dead language kept alive to the detriment of the youth.

    Agree J, I’ve had discussions with Irish relatives about just this. Teach the kids German, Spanish, French, Russian etc. If you want the next generation to thrive and trade with the world.

    It’s not going to happen. They won’t backtrack on green issues. Air quality is a big issue in large urban areas. They won’t abandon lucrative revenue streams. Its not going to happen. Forget about it.

    If I was in the area, I’d take it, put it in my secure yard, announce to all and sundry on social media what I’d done, so it was safe. If that thing goes tonight the owner will be gutted. Just seen Mark’s post, but the principle stands.

    Collège just prepares them for starting in the industry, giving them basic skills so they can learn how to do the job on the job.

    It’s a joke ffs. I hardly ever climb for other people these days, but some say ‘just put it on the ground, we’ll deal with it from there’ to keep the cost down. For others I’ll take all my gear and we will help their guy clear up. All depends, as they say.
