  6. Yes i know its 2.30 in the bloody morning, wide awake, missus snoring and grinding her teeth, needed a p, so here with a cuppa and some chocolate brioche, sent an email to the boss and now reading threads on arbtalk. This will cause some conflict, pet hate, maternity leave for husbands, why?, IN MY DAY you took a week out of your annual leave and that was that, you were glad to get back to work. Thats my view! Yes i am a grumpy old **** as the missus says and not very tolerant of other people, good job i work on me own all the time. Anyhow going to read some other threads now and i might even buy another chainsaw, because i can, its my money, so there:001_tt2:

  8. Oh and no posts after 8pm cos we will all be dozing.
  9. 57. Even got a Doro phone, its the only one i can hear above the tinitis, embarassing when everyone within a hundred yards of you stares at you when it rings. Firing them artillery guns and small arms and not wearing ear defenders. Love westerns, especially Randolph Scott, Audie Murphy and John Wayne.
  10. Just asked the missus and she says no.
  11. Yep, can remember them, used to bite the top off each square first before eating biscuit, yummy
  12. Very impressive. Getting into seeing what you boys can carve. Does anyone carve up in my area? I have some conifer 18" - 22" dia and 2.5 lengths, should i cut it to say 4ft lengths and stick it at the back of the shed incase someone wants some in the future.

  17. Have you got wood............do you want wood?
  18. Excuse my ignorance, but are not pine martins habitat conifer/softwoods as is red squirrrels, so how do they predate greys when their habitat is hardwood
  19. You cheat, never!! You got one of them wizard things, you have, i can see it hiding under the fire
  20. Up here we can only use cage traps as we have red and grey squirrels, if you only have grey you you can make tunnel traps with fenn mk4's. We use whole dried maize in the cages as reds tend not to eat it. It may be an idea to talk to someone from the forestry commission, if you have reds, they are a protected species and you may find that you have to belong to a wildlife club. We are members of the scottish wildlife trust.
  21. Can't write in suffolk speak, boy. It's suprising how many people think i come from norfolk, one thought cornwall and someone thought hampshire. Bat in law is a narwich gal. Just watched that clip on an axe thread with them fins building a proper log cabin. You gorn ta have a goo at building one VI?
  22. Them norfolk boys surely get excited bout winning, don't they:biggrin:
  23. Right, got to go and put me meat in the oven
