  1. Yep got one, it had to go back under warraty, for what now i cant remember. Works fine. The only problem i seem to have with it is it wont use the last ten or so nails in it.

  3. I think at the time it was quite a new camp. There was a tank training ground,
  4. Can remember doing my 2 weeks annual camp in the TA at wathgill camp sometime in the mid late eighties.
  5. Post it on here as i dont buy any fieldsport magazines
  6. So how big can you build the kiln to use one of the logosol units? I was thinking of a kiln system to help dry wood quicker to go into the biomass. We have a nissen type shed approx 20x12, block work upto 3ft riggly tin roof, and double wooden doors on the end, dirt floor. Thinking overnight i could convert it into a kiln. Thought of using solar panel to run it.
  7. Cheers for that:thumbup1:
  8. Is there asupplier or a link to solar kilns.
  9. That was an enlighting read. My bosses neice works for gwyneth, i just had images of her (the neice) in my mind wanting one installed in one of the bathrooms here for when she was next over, and having to explain what it does to the holiday lets:001_smile:
  10. I'm not really a welder, mister ...........old joke
  11. My mate up in perthshire is a gamekeeper and he swears by his kubota mule, uses that for carting feedetc and for fetching deer carcasses off the hill. Never been a prob.
  12. Have you tried making one of them finger maze thingys. Missus was asking
  13. Whats that then?
  14. Thats who i was going to say. Also in the same area, Castle douglas, is CAM Engineering, also valtra dealers and they have forestry ones
  15. It was just a roll of ribbed stuff, dunno what it is called, just enough to fit a single storey cottage. clambered up the roof and fed it down meself, new chimney pot and elephants foot job done.
  16. I think you will find the cost of lining the chimney will be the worst expense, the hearth you can make as cheap as you want, slabs etc or piece of slate. We have one of them 60s tiled preformed things, and the hearth came up in one piece with a crow bar. Best ring a stove supplier for cost of flue. I was lucky, found a coil of flue on the farm, and a woodburner in an empty cottage, me being a cheap skate.
  17. Had about 4 inches during the night, snowing again now, supposed to clear later and turn to rain tonight. Been down to main road on quad (2mile round trip) to see whats it like, the missus can stay at home today. Indoor games
  18. Mentioned it to the NCM this morning, she says probably inher way she is meditating when she sits outside with a joint and coffee, thinking. Yes she does smoke, and if thats what helps her, so be it. Trouble with her, some of her mates seem to be always off loading there personal probs on her.
  19. Ignore him mate. Dont take offence, Nut Club members rule OK! thats what i tell the missus when she wakes up with one of her heads, like this morning.
  20. If you dont mind me watching this thread with interest, the boss said yesterday he was looking to get one for his other place in worcs., he has seen one on QF tractors web page. He wont be wanting to pay alot.
  21. We have a utility room, but the sawdust still seems to find its way into the kitchen. The missus just leaves it, she knows i will back down and get the hoover out. Your mess, you clear it up, thats her point. Good point about the airline, have 2 pairs of socks that have been lurking in the utility room for ages, will take them over to garage and give em a blast.
  22. I won some oil as well, sent a pm to steve bullman last week, he said leave it another week then get back in touch with him. He had sent them addresses.
  23. Google em both and see the RHS site
  24. If you took the pic recently then its Garrya as its evergreen. Seen enough hornbeam in hertfordshire and we have some here and it dont look like it
