  1. My sister lives at westhumble, been up box hill a few times, but its the amount of traffic that puts me off. We went shopping this morning to newton stewart, about 40 mins drive, saw 2 cars on the way there and 1 car and 3 motorbikes on the way back, and that was at 11am, lovely.
  2. Must admit it is nice down that way, got a mate runs a shoot at eastnor castle and his boss has 2 or 3 more shoots at barnstaple.

  9. Was at a woodturning club meeting on chainsaws and asked our member who is also a dealer, if i could buy a top handled saw,NO! came the reply, he would need to see a copy of my climbing license and send a copy to stihl before they would release the saw. WHAT!!!
  10. Sorry to hear that, you never know something else may come up in the future if youre looking to move. Me and the missus are off up to glencoe for a job interview tomorrow, so see how that goes. We went for a job last year in renfrewshire and got down to the last two and got pipped by another couple from another agency, its the way it goes.
  11. Whatever you want, when you want:001_tongue: Hadnt long gone to bed one night and heard a loud crash from downstairs, opened the kitchen door to find the ceiling on the floor and a room of dust. Shut the door mumbling #### it and went back to bed.
  12. Not cheap, 549 euros for short one equals £395 plus cost of saw, echo 310£229, bugger that. Need to sell a lot of stuff to pay for ifself.
  13. When you say not cheap? Are they only designed for the ms170
  14. Same here, has anyone done a review or placed pics and pref in english:001_smile: It looks expensive and something a beginner will not need for years
  15. Fiskars do a nice one for about £60
  16. One of our tenants uses one of them humane traps baited with chocolate, then when she has caught one drives a mile down the road and lets it out??????? If i am right in thinking, mice need a poison 10 times stronger than rats. Just keep changing the type/chemical makeup of the poison.
  17. Think i tried some of that green stihl years ago, and my 154 would'nt run when hot so went back to red
  18. On the serious side, dont know nothing about aspen, never seen it, never been offered it so cant comment onit. I am supplied with a credit card from the boss, i go into town as and when, buy 40litres straight petrol for the quad and 20litres i mix straight into 2 stroke

  22. Got to admit i have never had a problem with fuel even longer than that, and i am a sod for not emptying the machines out either.
