  1. I think it's great that you live the way you choose to. But what others and I are saying is don't expect the state to pay for you to live the life you want. It's about taking personal responsibility for your life.
  2. Beat me too it!! It's like African families who have 10 plus kids when they can't produce enough food for 4. It's plain stupid
  3. Yes seriously if your only working 30 hours a week and need more money there is plenty more hours in a week. Work 2 jobs 3 even I've done it myself when required. Sorry if it's sounds harsh but I was brought up to work and work hard enough to support myself and my family. I'm not well educated hated school but never claimed benefits. Life is not easy. People should spend more time thinking about how to help themselves and their families than worrying about what the system gives them. Because as is being proved now the system will break and ruin things for a lot of people. I do accept what you are saying about these people being worse off but I don't accept that they should be blaming the state for needing these tax rebates in the first place. I don't know what would fix the system as Britain is an expensive place to live. Tax the banks too much and they will just move. Without the banks and big business in London the country would be screwed.I do think the government need to close tax loopholes for big business. Labour gave out way too much money. Be it benefits, too many state jobs, too many wars. The list goes on.
  4. I think people need to stop moaning and work harder. The welfare state should be a safety net nothing more! Raising the minimum wage won't change much imo as products and services will just become more expensive. Re the lying Cameron he should be held to account for it. I voted Tory but the politicians should at least try to tell the truth and not bare faced lies.
  5. Someone should point the guy who was needing help in this direction(arbtalk)
  6. Which blade is it I can't remember off the top of my head if the bottom blade is the anvil or straight cutting edge. I broke cutter type one and got new one for £25 iirc off eBay
  7. I see it now thanks for that !!

  10. Thanks everyone thought it might be a stupid question. I think one of those log holders will be the way to go.
  11. Not seen one of those before that will do the job! I just feel safer with the saw away from the ground. Thanks
  12. That's what I'm frightened of! Don't like doing it on the ground as I feel unsafe if the saw decided to do anything silly hence the saw horse!

    Ms170

Hi I've been logging up some small trees/ branches for someone with my 170 it's inly a 12 inch bar. I'm wondering if it would run a bigger bar say 16 inch to make it reach into the saw horse better? I would not be trying to take big trees down its just awkward to fit into my saw horse for the small logs? Sorry if it's a stupid question. Thanks Richard
  14. I'm surprised the leaves are turning in London only a few falling in Lincoln so I would have thought London would not be there yet
  15. Mine would tow more than 2.6 I was just wondering if they had changed the spec (down) it makes no difference as the most I tow I about 1t plus trailer weight. Just seems odd that 190 hp now and still only 2.6 tow weight.
  16. I think I've seen on here somewhere that 1 tonne will give 1.5 m3 but I may be wrong. But £140 for 2.5 m3 hardwood sounds ok to me
  17. Is yours the outlaw? I have a new navara and its plated at 2.6
