  10. i only cut one lawn but charge £1000 a month,and it gets cut weekly.mind you it ia 16 acre lawn and used 35 litres of deisel a week ,and i dont pick the grass up!!

  17. Is that's your mates rate Jon? In was toying with a quote of 300 quid for job plus expense .travel down two nights in posh hotel food drink and travel home.just need a local chipper to hire and we get a deal.
  18. I have an old bobcat skid steer brilliant for loading logs.chip, log grab,bonfires and will dance all day. But yes it can make a mess of yard if you a Rush it.hopeless on mud and grass.and too heavy to tow on ifor

  22. Why not team up with a local firewood guy .he cuts and splits logs for your own use and the rest is his to sell as he likes.if you are busy climbing etc you can do what you do best and let someone else do the grunt work.win win surely

  24. The pitch of conveyor is dictated by the length of log .is long logs and steep angle and you will damage belt as the splitter crashes logs against it.
