  1. Does anyone know if this has actually happened to anyone while working on trees? Be interested to know how it happened.
  2. I see what you did there!
  3. I got a 562 a while back, it’s been brilliant. My favourite saw. But to think that the new Stihl 462 is the same weight but with more power and similar throttle response, it’s definitely got me interested.
  4. Welcome . If you can get a nice 346xp then that would be the one, it will cope with up to an 18” bar (just), if not I would go for a 562xp, bit bigger but Husky seem to have ironed out the problems that the 560xp suffered from in regards to the autotune and pistons getting scored as soon as the warranty was up.
  5. Spoilt rotten you are, Paul
  6. Thanks [emoji106]
  7. Hey Steve, the app is taking forever to upload photos then it is duplicating them and not displaying others. Thanks

  9. Dunno what’s happening with this app trying to load photos...
  10. A couple of willows heavily pollarded in a tight spot, some cut and chuck but mainly rigged due to a myriad of targets. Enjoyable job.
  11. Vertical snap cut is a useful one for hung up and v heavy leaners. Definitely need your wits about you on that one though.
  12. Corbyn is getting more and more brazen about it by the day.
  13. Haha! I watched most of it. It did look a bit like he may of had something at the beginning of the clip but after watching more of it I’m not so sure. He did look under the cosh though, which isn’t surprising. I wonder if they place any reporting restrictions on his case? Unlikely, I think as it seems he’s being used a kind of scapegoat and a distraction in the whole sorry affair.
  14. Bavarian?? You mean like this....

That’s more than most get.. The law seems to be firmly on the side of the perp these days. (I blame the madness of Brussels) we got told by a H&S auditor that we had to make our place ‘safe’ for potential burglars as the HSE would prosecute US in the event of any injury sustained while breaking in to our premises. I thought he was taking the mick. I hope you get sorted mate.
  17. Morning Paul. You’re right mate. An excellent trainer and all round amazing guy. Must be getting on for 60 now and still flies round the tree like a 25 year old! Very inspirational. Loving your updates mate, speak soon. [emoji106]
  18. Excellent photos Paul! Mr Spooner is a fantastic guy, I did my CD38/39 with him. Gutted I couldn’t get there this year.
  19. Or let the hedge/verge cuttings and standing water stay where it is and let ‘nature’ (human and otherwise) take its course.
  20. Depends how steep the banks are and how much you will have to retrieve from the stream. Easy to underestimate/underprice a job like that, but if two firms have knocked it back, that gives you an advantage. Work out how long it will take then “press a little harder on the pen” to allow for any unanticipated delays. To be fair, it doesn’t look too difficult. If you have good access and a winch it looks pretty straightforward. Good luck [emoji106]
  21. Seen a similar set up to that fitted to mogs, and tractor trailers working the motorway verges of Belgium and Holland. We seem to be decades behind over here. Perhaps, that’s where some of our EU contributions have gone.....,

Sorry to hear about this Mark, hope you recover from this quickly.
  23. Lower casing and the colour looks like Oleo Mac to me.
  24. Your a bad influence on Stubby Mr J, “peddling” ideas like that to him, you know he can’t S‘tandem’ lycra types. Hopefully he’s ‘spoke’ to the council and got it cancelled. [emoji51]
