The last time I looked it was 100km but that was on a limited/restricted hgv ops licence. It may have changed since then, or are you thinking of AG regs? https://movingon.blog.gov.uk/2014/10/06/changes-to-tachograph-rules-for-local-journeys/

Not if your only operating within 100k of base
  3. This. If it’s the same warranty as the 560.
  4. Me and the Mrs have had ‘dealings’ with Sandwell a few years ago. We enrolled on the adoption process. We thought that my past drug addiction issues and previous spells in prison may disqualify us from being accepted but they didn’t bat an eyelid. The problem came when we ‘confessed’ to being Christian. They told us that this was concerning to them and may prevent us getting accepted into the process. Welcome to Sandwell.
  5. Sandwell council run their police authority. Say no more. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-news/sandwell-council-accused-incompetence-corruption-14203995.amp
  6. If you cut it cleanly with a red hot Stanley or kraft knife blade to seal the cut ends and you can put a unique ID number on the piece that is un-marked recording when it was manufactured and when it entered service it will be fine. Most arb stores sell a rope marking kit. You will need heat to shrink the clear tube over the label.

    Jokes???

  8. Husky 560 pot & pistons? Stihl 441 exhaust? Where are you based?
  9. Being trapped in a dysfunctional EU is being isolated- from the the rest of the world. We’re not even allowed to catch our own fish- for crying out loud!!!!! Hopefully (at least we should) be headed in the right direction now..
  10. We’ll be reviewing foot-spa’s soon at this rate.....
  11. We just got a “Shark” my in-laws got it as a present as we both have allergies and every vac we’ve ever had has been crap including Dysons and Henry’s . I’m not the type to get excited about a vacuum cleaner but this thing is a beast and it’s got all the attachments and configurations. (Just realised how sad I’ve got in my old age, raving about a vac[emoji20]) Not sure if it’s what you had in mind. Maybe a bit like using a brand new Valtra for scraping the cowsheds out.
  12. There’s still a lump under a carpet in Whitehall somewhere. People were tripping up over it at first but it’s flattened out quite a bit now.
  13. That’s unlikely to happen. There will or probably be a ‘token’ investigation and a couple of minor scapegoats punished. Maybe some positive overtures made in Israel’s direction and some more social reforms but I don’t think much will happen as current political and military strategies need The Saudis on side.
  14. Great job by the way Steve. [emoji106]
  15. Reminds me of this
  16. Or Pitcairn island, it would be a great destination for someone who doesn’t want to integrate.
  17. A fallen willow stem that floated down stream and got caught on a weir a couple of months ago is happily throwing out shoots.
  18. There’s one just north of J6 M6 before the DVSA depot. Shame they don’t put the same kind of investment into catching thieves who target small businesses.
  19. https://health.mil/Military-Health-Topics/Military-Medical-History/Military-Health-Medal-of-Honor-Recipients/World-War-II-Recipients/Pfc-Desmond-T-Doss This was in response to tree-fanciers comment.
  20. A lot of ‘conscientious objectors’ went on the front lines and carried stretchers.

  22. Looks like Duran Duran’s fan club party.
  23. Mark, I’m assuming the quoted publication is using the informal definition. It couldn’t possibly be using the formal one as we all know that could never be true. T
  24. It is possible to ‘clip in’ with a lanyard and harness to the top of a tripod ladder so as to form another point of contact. Some of them actually have this built on to them. A frames ‘side on’ is asking for trouble. Tripods are much more stable. Like Khris says. Always refer to WAHR.
