  1. Thanks for that, I knew there was a reason.
  2. It's brilliant and Zara dampney is well fit!!
  3. Have a look into how many people around your way are offering stump grinding, if there is nobody offering this service then ask yourself why, if people are the are they making a decent living out of it. I have had 5 different machines over the years and I have never made a living soley from stump grinding it is just a service I can offer when I have removed the tree.
  4. 6'2 and 18 stone, help!!
  5. I don't bother trying to help anymore, I just let them get on with it, most of these people are idiots. They think it's great that there mate is a rock climber so he can take the tree down over the next few weekends, complete dick heads, I had one guy get me round after his rock climbing buddy had been at the tree( 60 ft cherry) there were stubs sticking out all over, sheds under it, I said its 350 to Finnish the job. Err ok. Muppets!!
  6. Stop messing about with toy chippers rob and get a decent one, you won't regret it, Timberwolf 150 or a Jensen, end of. I can't speak highly enough of Timberwolf, easy to look after and they hold their value. Remember the saying, you get what you pay for!!
  7. Or get caught:)
  8. Just watching the dressage, why so many empty seats yet we couldn't get any seats?? Bloody cock up I reckon!!
  9. My mate is big into synths, he lent one of his moogs to Gary Neumann when he played with NIN. He got to watch he gig from the side of the stage.
  10. Cool:)
  11. Did anybody see the article in today's mail(Friday 27th July)? A landscape gardener has been fined 6 grand for using a chainsaw off a ladder without the correct safety gear and training!! How good is that, better get saving up.. Ha,ha.
  12. got any pics mate:confused1: im getting excitted.
  13. Why do they bother selling them concave then? Baffles me how they tell you 1 thing and mean another.
  14. Timberwolf blades are concave and have to be specially ground rather than flat ground, this is how the machines were designed to run.

    Road Trip

Today is my Birthday, I was going to have a nice day off with the wife but instead we have had to go on a road trip up to Newcastle to take my chipper to Orange plant. I put new bearings in at Christmas and 3 weeks ago they had gone again, I changed them but they have now gone again:( so I thought it best to take it to the dealer to get sorted, so my 35 week pregnant wife and I set out at 5.30am in the landy to Newcastle, we arrived at 8am and have left the chipper to hopefully get sorted today(fingers crossed). We are now having breakfast in Alnwick and the we are going to the gardens at Alnwick castle, the wife is treating us to lunch hope to get the chipper back later.
