  1. Unless you really need a Landry then I would consider one of your other options, I have a 130 crew cab tipper, it gets about 4 cube of chip in, tows my tracked chipper, carrys logs and tips, I have a big winch on it for pulling things over or out and on the rare occasion I get it stuck it pulls me out BUT it is heavy on fuel, sure things go wrong on it but mainly it's wear and tear as she gets some hammer, I have had a transit and this for me is the best tool. If your not gonna tow heavy loads then unless you can afford to run a Landry I would get a jap toy. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  2. That isnt anywhere near the quality of the Oregon 1, I have an Oregon 1 and the quality is excellent, very thick material that's very tough. I have seen the dickies and they are a lot thinner and not as well made. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  3. God knows mate, if it's under a 100 dollars then I don't think u pay any, or you could ask Easy Lift Guy on here to advise.
  4. Just get it off Baileys, I buy stuff off them all the time and they are great to deal with.
  5. I have got some nice Smith&Wessons from baileys online $8.99 or some old oakleys.
  6. You may have the grunt but not the towing capacity or off road capability:)

  11. Welcome Adam, good luck in your new career and thank you for serving our country. I hope you find work in the Arb world, it's not the best time to be starting out but if you are a grafter and have some common sense then you should be ok.

I agree Dave, I don't know alot about farming but I have family that farm and come into contact with farmers and they seem to get alot of grants for things. A farmer I know of got a grant to put a new roof on a stone barn in a field, I own a barn and the roof is needing repair but I have been told that I can't get a grant?? I want a building in my field for my firewood production but again no I can't have one yet a farmer can put up buildings? I am not anti farmer but it should be fairer for everyone. If I went out and did a job and it cost more to do the job than I was getting paid I wouldn't do it.
  13. Are you serious? That's bad practice IMO, honesty is the best policy is what I have been told. An ex employee of mine dropped a tree on a national park footbridge once and I called them and told them about it, they thanked me for being honest and said usually people don't own up to damage but as I had I would have to pay for the damage!! I let my insurance sort it out and I had to pay the excess, I was a bit gutted but hey ho that's how it is, about a year later the national park called me up and offered me some work which i did and it led to another 3 jobs so far:)
  14. How much is your excess pedro?
  15. If you can get a crane in then get one in, they make all the difference, you also want a Top notch climber with experience at crane work, get them too look before you quote. From what you are saying then it sounds like a 3ker at least.

I get milk delivered to my door by my local milkman, I am supporting the small man, I get eggs off him which come from a local farm too. It costs more than at Asda but I think it's worth it.

I was just in the wind up with my remark about discos, reall though I think it's wrong that it costs the farmer more to produce milk than he sells it for, something should be done by the government. The problem is the super markets can buy it on from Europe I believe??
  25. That's better!! Cracking tree.
