  1. Might be a good idea if you put what area you are willing to work in:)
  2. Did you ask what the charges would be after the free 18 month period before you joined? If you did then you can't be cheesed off now as you knew the charges would kick in after 18 months, if you didn't ask then you should have. When I joined my bank I asked what the charges would be and I accepted them because I have a face to deal with not some call center. Why not talk to the bank and ask about the charges and tell them your not happy and see what happens.
  3. Sounds good. Let me know when u have some timber available mate.
  4. And shows all the scratches. What toy you bought? Did you get the yellow peril out ok last week?
  5. FSB load of rubbish in my opinion, I was a member for 5 years and them when I needed the legal services that they offer they were crap. I am now no longer a member.
  6. How else do you think they make their money? You don't work for free and neither do the banks. It's also tax deductible so don't stress. The experience I had with free banking was Micky mouse service.
  7. I know where you are coming from huck;)
  8. I would really like one as i think they look awesome, but its a cost I can't afford at the moment:-( sadly.
  9. Why are you selling your Steve?
  10. There is no way I would go vat reg as my work is 90% domestic, I hit the bat limit a couple of years ago and had to scale down to make sure I wouldn't have to register.
  11. I agree but it does go off quickly, so needs moving on, I have some that is a year old and is already going off inside, the stuff I have that's 2 years old is almost rotten.
  12. I get it now thanks. I'm not vat reg.
  13. Typical mate, hardworking people being penalised again. You should get onto Brussels as they are infringing your human rights of making a living:)
  14. If I was Vat reg I would pay 20% on the cord I buy but when I sell it on the customer only pays 5%? What happens to the 15% and why is it like this?
  15. I can see where he is coming from as being non VAT Reg it makes it a bit expensive, and being birch it's a pretty light timber with a short shelf life so needs shifting pretty quick. I'm sure you will have no problem selling it though.
  16. Plus haulage too. Birch doesn't last long once cut.
  17. I like huck's analogy about M&S and Aldi and how true it is. There will all ways be a tier system to selling anything, round here there is a company selling kiln dried logs and they are the top tier as most expensive then a local estate who have lots of kit but lots of woodland, then there are the guys like me who sell a decent product for a fair price and then there are the guys selling fresh cut wood cheap. That's just how it is. I have my price and stick to it take it or leave it. I don't advertise logs anymore as I'm happy with the customers I have.
  18. MF 3090, powers my processor and when I can find some brackets it will have a loader too.
  19. Hi, Thanks I bought one a couple of years ago.
  20. I know, I had a guy ring and order a double load of dry seasoned logs, he insisted they must be dry, I delivered them and I asked where he was going to store them, he pointed to a corner of his yard and says "just there, I don't cover them I just leave them uncovered"!!!
  21. And that scum Abu Quatada has been released on bail as he won't get a fair trial if deported, aww, poor fella, tell that to his victims! Utter scum.
  22. Looks like a stained pine/spruce type effect?
  23. I know you ask people to pm or call but you could try Rob Rainford on here, he is in St. Helens.
  24. Ha,Ha, its a great joke, click on the red pre order now closed banner at the bottom;)
