  1. Flea bayers won't, there are quite a few top handle saws on there.
  2. Depends how big your area is, I have a large area that I scraped the mud off and then put down large stuff down as tractor, van, truck will be going on it, I would have needed a lot of geotextile. The way I have described works great for me so I was just advising from experience.
  3. You need big stone 50-100mm first, then u can put down type 1 mot 20mm or road platings but if you don't put big stuff down first the small stuff just disapears into the mud. I did this to my yard and its great, I'm going to do it again when I can afford it as big stone can be expensive £16 tonne
  4. I spoke with a chap in husky technical dept and they know there is a problem with the chain brake and the have been trying to solve it which they now have.....allegedly.
  5. I ain't no armature, I put the chain brake on when needed, I don't rev the tits off and slap the brake on and I keep it cleaned out.
  6. Another apple hater eh:) I love apple and they are brilliant and innovative why all the hate??
  7. Course we do you shandy swilling savannah (southerner) LOL
  8. And bad luck as if you burn it a family member is supposed to die. That's an old wives tale not my opinion.
  9. Yes mate, husky have re designed them and will change under warranty.
  10. Well I had an interesting phone call off my dealer today letting me know that he has been at Husqvarna and they have sorted the problem with the chain brake band snapping and they have also brought out a new starter casing that has been re designed so fingers crossed that it will solve the issues I have had. Watch this space, I may have a MS 362 to sell if the 560 is sorted. lOL!!
  11. The subbies I know have insurance because they do their own work also, if anyone working for me breaks or damages anything due to carelessness or stupidity then they pay.
  12. He would only work for me once, fortunately most of the subbie climbers I have used have a great attitude and ability, all there own kit and insurance even though my insurance covers them it shows they are serious. I did have a subbie grounds who used to just thrw things around, knock plant pots over I had told him to move, felled a tree on a footbridge etc, he couldn't see why I never used him again:)
  13. So if I cancel him on the morning of a job coz I'm ill or there has been a family emergency he will expect to get paid? No chance:)

My 560 starter case broke where the starter coil is screwed onto the starter case and also the 2 pins that engage the fly wheel broke off too. I always use the de comp button but when the the saw is warm and is a bitch to start sometimes it pops out and you don't notice.
  15. Get on to Westcon Equipment, they are Rayco dealers and have a good stic of parts and are helpfull. 01258 859100 give them a call.
  16. I have been a fan of stretch air for the last couple of years until I tried Stihl hiflex type A, front protection. I had been using hiflex type c for years until I got stretch air which last for ever and are pretty bombproof. The hiflex type a may not be as hard wearing as the stretch air but for weight and keeping you cool I have found them excellent, it just depends what u like.
  17. John your bloody daft:) you bust a chain on that and you are gonna be out of pocket before u start:) 10 a day!! lol!
  18. Tight bugger, there only about a tenner new;)

  20. Welcome to the club!! I have had nothing but trouble with mine, search on here for the threads on the 560 mate. As for the oil that is nonsense:)
  21. Glad to hear you have your sanity back, those chineese things are defo trouble, the wallenstein is 5k for a small chipper, you could get a nice used Timberwolf 150 6" chipper for that. Have a good look around before u take the plunge.
  22. Yet you would buy a piece of junk??
  23. Change to the multi tip cutting system, I have fitted it to my small rayco and its excellent!
  24. All ways torque my blades on my 150, if they wernt meant to be torqued up they wouldn't give torque wrench settings.
