  3. Thanks good explaination understand it better now. Is the automatic electronic fault diagnose software not that reliable?
  4. Is this abit like ebay dropshipping? Suppliers>wharehouse>online shop front (now outsourcing the warehouse part & delivery part)? Less vertical integration?
  5. I still don't fully understand why that has to be the case apart from a lack of expertise in fixing them or by manufacturers, (possibly by poor design) making the spares & maintenace uneconimical compared with parts for petrol ones. Think part of the problem is a faster obsolescence as each new gen comes out. I like makita as the 18v platform has being arounds for ages and a big % of total the cost is in the batteries. Have read that electric cars will need less ongoing service work than ICE ones as less to go wrong so garages will lose out. So they are kind of claiming the opposite for electric cars - cheaper and more easy to fix, but maybe that will be less true in reality.... Im not sure if they are also designed to not last as long ICE ones and be scrapped/replaced faster? Being green would be keeping & retro fitting upgrading older cars for as long as possible. (Bit like Cuba)
  6. How about (cut to size) the rubber matting they use of horse box ramps etc

  19. 261 suits a 16" better anyway i reckon. Only thing similar i found in stock was this: Sugihara 3/8 .050 OR .325 .050 lightweight pro toonie tip chainsaw bar Husqvarna mount (18 inch bar) – F.R. 23. Was a goood thread already on looping beeches: Seems they can be topped if done right but i assume thoose pollards were mostly created before the trees got so mature. Restoration of lapsed beech pollards: Evaluation of techniques and guidance for future work http://www.historictreecare.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Read-et-al-Arb-Journal-2013.pdf
  24. They are quite bad for vibration when new compared to some other multi tools but maybe not "that" bad. Seem very similar to using the titan screwfix ones with regards to having crappy anti vibes. The bigger engines ones in the range are abit better than that model but still not very good. The husky multi tool engine unit is noticably better and nicer to use - less vibrations than the stihl models.
