  10. Makes it sounds rubbish 20cc If the numbering system is correct the chainsaw 535i must have a considerably better motor with more power?
  11. Suppose you need to know the power output in Kw of the electric motor to compare it too petrol annoying they don't advertize that in the spec probably because its fairly low under 1kw?
  12. MS181 is a poor saw as its very slow to cut & has poor power to weight ratio. The makita ea4300 its loads better value for money especially at the current bargin price. It is like the makita version of an MS241 I have used both ms181 & ea4300 huge difference between them. If you want a quality dinky light weight saw get an echo (But more ££££) Corded electric saws from either husky stihl & makita (theese 3 make quality corded electric saws) are also good for firewood near the house & cut alot faster than a MS181.

Works out about £700 with 2 quid not sure would reach 6 metre with 2 extensions probably need 3? Or the pole chainsaw pruner with the trimmer attachment? Why not suggest the owner that you reduce hedge height as its always going to be a hassle cutting a hedge that size & it must be shading his polytunnels? Aleast at 20m it isn't that very long but how wide is hedge top? Had a similar job behind some sheds so couldn't foot ladder hedge was over 4 metres wide at top ?. Climbed up inside hedge with silky and used a wolf garten pole with lopper attachment to reach top of sides that couldn't reach from bottom didn't leave a tidy finish.. & got impaled & scratched on dead leylandi inside hedge.

  23. There are so many didfferent styles of blade cutters with different shapes out there seems hard to decide what is best design? https://www.oregonproducts.eu/site/6_flipbooks/2017/EN_EUR/GARDEN_2017_EN_EUR.pdf Has a bit of infos on page 29 of catalogue what oregon recommends for cutting different types of vegetation etc. Anyone tried theese different types? Thinking of trying the 8 tooth one as they recommend for coarse grass & I want to reduce plastic trimmer line use, though looks like it would be slow & less effective compared to the 3 tooth as less length of cutting blade?
