X27 is like a womens axe head is to light weight was very disapointed by it after all the rave reviews. Much prefer maul as don't have to swing it as hard on big rounds the head weight does the work for you. I use to wack at knots with the maul also but now I just noodle with chainsaw alot less effort. -
Looks good in dolmar orange apart from don't like the look of the tooless tesioner marlarky as opposed to traditional bolts

Yeah saw thoose metal wire brush ones anyone tried them? Whats with banned non aproved H@S issue gonna fly off and injure?? Same type of heads fit on drills & angle grinders.... Also considered the bio degradable line for general use as mirco plastics is bad etc but its about x4 as expensive per M and got bad reviews And as all car tyres and loads of other stuff are shedding plastic everywhere where do you draw the line withour becoming a cavemen. Local WT you need c31 etc and a volunteer wouldn't remove wood logs as dead wood is habitat although the wardens no doubt usually taking some logs home perks of the job etc. No oppurtunity for free wood if that was what you were angling after? Would open a can of worms with other volunteers if they saw you carting of logs anyway? -

Plague of of second homers zooming about on there matching his and hers £3000 plus electric bikes atm. Dunno if it really counts as cycling when near zero effort is required. What I don't get is 25C out virtually no rain for months and there in full waterproof jacket outfit?

Do you mean the guide bar is missing? (im not sure what a chain guide/track is?) I think alot of this enviro benefits stuff has being overstated and will only be short term, like better air quality. Covid would need to kill alot more to have any positive enviro effect ?
